It was nearly impossible to keep the smirk off of my lips. The look on Audryk's face was just way to priceless, after reading the scene where Lady Macbeth called out Macbeth for being a pussy. Part of me was surprised that he understood the scene even though it was in Elizabethan text.  After that other people where picked to read and we were left to follow in our heads; and class went by normally. Well, as normal as it can be when you are being constantly glared at by the majority of the girls in class because Audryk Core was sitting next to you. I wanted to scream 'honestly people! I didn't force him to sit here!' but nevertheless, I knew the girls were going to hate me.  This was actually really ridiculous. This was all because he chose me as his next victim. All this fuss was over me not succumbing to his man-whorish ways. And I wasn't about to! Hopefully, if I just ignored him he would get bored and forget about me. The bell went off forcing me out of my mental ramblings. People were pushing their way out of the cramped tiny door. I, naturally, hung back because I was quite honestly claustrophobic. Not that I would tell anyone that, other than Ricochet. But she already knows so it didn't matter much. Once the classroom was considerably less crowded I gathered up my books and shoved them into my bag. Then turned around to find Ricochet smiling at me creepily. She did that sometimes, whenever she was going to say something that she knew I wasn't going to like. I was right.

"He was checking you out the whole class period!" She squealed. I was a little put off by her statement because she wasn't really that into Audryk. She loved Running Out of Patience, but she had more of a thing for Adeon Classic, the drummer. I looked at her again. She still had that creepy smile.

Of Crap!

"No!" I turned away from her.

"Bu--"

"No."

"Abby!!" she whined then stomped her foot on the ground. She always did that too. She had a lot of quirks. I knew what she was going to say. She wanted me to go out with Audryk so that she could meet Adeon.

Just like me and Ricochet were best friends, so were Adeon and Audryk. I know it's freaky, AC and AC.

"Abby, please!" she had a heart broken look on her face. Damn, I hate it when she does that.

"Ricky," I looked at her exasperated, "I'll never be with Audryk." I turned and ran right into someone's chest. His chest was really hard and he smelled really good. Like wood smoke. I shook my head, then stepped back and looked up into the face of Audryk. He must have been waiting back. He probably heard our conversation. Shoot me.

"Why not Cupcake?" he gave me a mock sad look. I scowled and went to push past him.

"Look here Cupcake, maybe you don't know who I am." he held out his hand. "I'm Audryk Core, lead singer of Running Out of Patience." he gave me what I assumed was his winning smile.

"I know. And don't call me Cupcake." I said boredly. I did not want to get myself into this kind of situation.

"She loves your music!" Ricochet piped up from behind me. He smiled and I grimaced. I did like his music but that was beside the point. His music could be moving and deep. But he was just a player and I did not find that attractive.

"Is that so?" he took ahold of my arm. He pulled a marker out of his back pocket and wrote on it.

543-992-5798 then his autograph. I stared at it stupidly. What the hell?

"Text me." he winked then smirked before adding "Cupcake." then simply walked away.

What?

"Omg!!! He gave you his phone number!!!" she freaked out.
