Chapter 4

Will is shivering his face looks like he has been in a fight with a cat ,it is covered in nothing but red blood. His hands are busted and scarred I slowly put down the frying pan down unsure of what to say. "W.....what are you doing here"? I gasp my mouth curved up in a round shape shocked by his appearance. "I didn't know what else to do I was walking on my way back from yours I got off the train and I walked down the alley way to my house and all of a sudden......... Will pauses in his sentence. I don't even know who it was they walked up to me and I got attacked"! Are you ok is there anything that I can do"? "You need to go to A and E I'll drive you" I spit out the words loud and fast my voice echoing through the miserable hallway.

"But you're in pyjamas" Will looks down at my spotty pjs "who cares" I laugh "what's with the frying pan"? "Well let's just say I thought you were my sister's killer"We both split into laughter.

"A frying pan that's not going to knock someone out for long" I say to my sister we were doing a Disney marathon with my sister's friends. I was told to look after them while Mum went out shopping ,Lucille's friends laugh at my sarcastic comment. "Anything can be used as a weapon" Lucille says. " yeah I mean a frying pan is made from Aluminium and Stainless steel it is a good conductor of heat too" Lucille's smart friend Karen says playing with her beautiful blonde hair. Karen is sitting there up against the broad leather sofa looking insecure and left out ,Karen was the only one that I actually liked out of all Lucille's friends all the others were popular bitches.She was a bit of a scientific geek and was often used like a spare part by my sister, that was when Lucille had no one else. That was extremely rare as I already told you she was popular and sold out quickly like a limited edition Cashmere sweater . "What shall I have salted or sweet popcorn they are both so good"? Dumbass Mona says another of my sister's friends "I'm having both separately" says Selfish Emily she looks down her nose at me. "I know I'll have a popcorn cocktail salt and sweet mixed together"! Mona screams at her own ridiculous idea "have I just invented the most amazing thing ever"? Mona can't even spell orange
She is one of my sister's dumbest friends ever.

"Jade" Will shouts in my ear "sorry" I laugh I grab my red coat and my pointy black boots.I unlock my black Mini Cooper Will jumps in the front passenger seat his beaten up face reflecting in the light. On our way to the hospital the weather is wet, rainy and unpleasant because of the traffic we walk to the hospital entrance. The scene must have been weird because a young girl clearly looked disturbed by what she saw "look Mummy it's that girl again" the mother ignores her and elbows her daughter in the ribs. It feels like the whole room is watching us like we are the only people in the room the dead murdered girls sister and a beaten up freak. I wait with Will in the waiting room and he doesn't get seen by a doctor until an hour later it is 4:09 in the morning I yawn tired of waiting and feel the cold chill from the iced up air.

Will comes out bandages across his face his eyes watering from the painful injures he sits down next to me tired as well. " You didn't have to do this you know" he looks at me with puppy dog eyes "what did you expect me to do you arrived on my door step battered and bruised I had to help you". "You didn't have to but you chose to" he looks into my eyes his blue eyes looking like diamonds  "so what did the doctor say"? I quickly change the subject before things get intense " they said that the injury's will take a while to heal however they will eventually clear up".

"Did you ever catch who did it to you or catch a glimpse of their face"? "I already told you I don't know they were dressed in complete black and had a mask covering their face if could have been anyone". "We have to tell the Police" I stammer yesterday I would have strongly disagreed with what I am thinking today. I feel like a totally different person from yesterday my whole image has changed incredibly however I still feel like I am well known just because of my sister. " We can't tell the Police ok this person threatened me I told them to leave you alone Jade I really did I payed the price to keep you safe". Will really did that for me WoW he got beaten up to save me I almost feel heart warmed at the idea
,but it makes me feel bad for Will he sacrificed himself for me.

We run outside to the car it is 4:20 in the morning and there is not a soul around but us. I feel refreshed from the heavy rain and hail I feel drained from the day and nights events you'd be surprised by what can happen in 24 hours.I drop Will at the train station telling him to be careful for like the tenth time I get back to the house it is the same as it has been since I left it. Loosing some close to you is a dark dark place and you wouldn't want to be there it is like you are trapped in a spiders web and you can't get out.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and take it out to receive it

"Don't you think about telling anybody anything otherwise Lucille's murder will be pinned on you"
