Well Shit.

I could hear the thump of his paws as I dodged through the forest, desperately looking for an escape route. Trees flew by and blurred,  making it seem as if this harsh reality could be a dream. Yeah right , Ash. Get yourself  together. You wish it was a dream. I told myself.

This is my life now, constantly on the run. Constantly fighting to live. Constantly running from the man who haunts my dreams, my reality, and my past. It seemed as if it was never ending. The running, the fighting. The man was to stubborn for his own damn good.

I could feel my body weakening. Too much running and not enough food or sleep was taking its toll. I pushed myself harder, knowing that if I slowed down now, he would have me. And he would take me back to that hell hole. And for me, that wasn't an option.

Suddenly, the thumps were gone. They just stopped. If this was one of his tricks, it was new. He's never done this, and ill admit, It threw me off. I couldn't have lost him. He was too close. Where the fuck did he go?! When I heard the approach of multiple others, I knew. I was too busy running to pay attention to where I was. Specifically, to whose borders I had crossed. Meaning, I was trespassing and I was about to pay the price.

I heard the group divide off, creating a circle around me. Effectively trapping me in the middle. Far off, I heard running water. If I can just make it to where ever that's coming from, I can escape. I thought. But unfortunately, luck wasn't in my side as usual. The two biggest wolfs came at me from both sides, determined to stick me in between them. I sped up, causing them to miss, but not before one them managed to aim a  bite at my hind leg, causing fresh blood to fall and to slow me down even further. Fuck! There's now way I'm getting out of this one. Well, I hope this is a semi-nice pack. I thought right as I put on the brakes and dug my legs into the forest floor.

The group was unprepared for the sudden change and kept going until they realized I had stopped when their hind man crashed into me, causing both of us to crash into a nearby tree. I could feel the wolfs claws tear into my back as we struggled to get out of the awkward position and it gave the group time to regroup around us. Meaning, I was now cornered by five big wolfs and a tree.

Could this day get any fucking better? I asked myself, softly sighing as I eyed the group around me. I saw the biggest wolf shift and I was suddenly staring at a naked man. An attractive named man at least. My wolf, Shay, purred. Shut up. This is not the time. I shot back. "Shift." The man commanded, his voice ringing with authority. Nice, either an Alpha or a Beta. I thought before I quickly shifted into my human form. I felt the mans eyes rake down my body as he took in my 5'2 frame. With my jet black hair and baby blue eyes, I knew I was...attractive, in the least. Complete with a flat, toned stomach from my constant running and killer curves, It didn't surprise me when his eyes trailed upward and I found them laced with lust. "My eyes are up here, big boy." I purred out, shooting him a coy smirk. I heard his low growl and then " Your trespassing, roque." he stated. "No shit? I thought y'all were chasing me for the hell of it!" I shot back, my tone laced with sarcasm. He growled once again, "Such disrespect for such a little thing." He taunted.
