You charge forward. Only one hit was needed to kill him. He was just going to try making it as hard as possible by using string attacks in bursts.
You swing at him, your knife leaving a trail of dust behind it from the other monsters you killed. He dodges.
"What?!" You think to yourself. How did he dodge? That's impossible.
"what? you think i'm just gonna stand there and take it?" He says smiling.
Another array of bones comes flying at you. You avoid most of them but still take a little bit of damage.
"our reports showed a massive anomaly in the time-space continuum. timelines jumping left and right, stopping and starting... until suddenly, everything ends. heh heh heh... that's your fault isn't it?" His face staring into your soul
This is insane. How does he know about timelines? More importantly, can he remember previous ones like Flowey?
He sends another blaster at you along with another set of bones.
"you can't understand how this feels. knowing that one day, without any warning... it's all going to be reset."
He stops smiling and looks upset.
More attacks. Way too many hit you and you eat food to heal up. He's slicing through your 92 health like it's nothing.
"look. i gave up trying to go back a long time ago. and getting to the surface doesn't really appeal anymore, either. cause even if we do... we'll just end up right back here, without any memory of it, right?"
He seems to know more than you thought. His extensive knowledge of how resets work is disturbing. How long has he known? You realise that this annoying, stupid skeleton could actually be a huge threat to you. If he manages to gain your soul then he could keep the power to reset to himself and maybe even prevent you from coming back ever again.
"to be blunt... it makes it kind of hard to give it my all."
