Seconds later a hand tightly clamped over my mouth. I let my reflex's take over and I elbowed the person in the stomach. I quickly turned around and tackled the person.
As I sat up on top of them. They had a monkey mask. Lui. I sat there dazed. 'Why would he attack me' I thought I was knocked out of my trance by hitting a tree. Pain exploded in my back but I got up the second Lui charged at me. I sidestepped making him hit he tree I did.
I tackled him again. I didn't want to hurt him but I did land a couple good hits on him. Definitely leaving bruises. Strong arms wrapped around my waist yanking me from Lui. I swung but stopped when I realized the person was Vanoss.
"What the fuck!" I yell pushing out of his grip and running back to Lui. But with my luck his arms find their way back around my waist.
"Let go!"
"I can't let you hurt him."
"What do you mean? He was attacking me!"
"That was a test."
I froze. "A test?"
"Yes we were seeing how well you reacted to a surprise attack" Basically filled me in. The tension was thick (THICC) Moo cleared his throat. "Let's go do hand-in-hand combat" he said trying to clear the tension. It helped but no one said anything. They just nodded and followed after Moo. I glared at Lui. I was mad. I didn't even get to throw knives.
