It was a normal, cool, autumn day as you sat on your bed, the colors of the world vibrant around you as your lover laid sleeping next to you. The sun shined in from the window, landing across your eyes and jolting you from your slightly hazy daze. Your morning continued like any other, you making breakfast for your loved one and giving her a kiss goodbye before you snuck out the door to get to work. Your day was normal other than the oil breaking above you and showering your shirt with black fluids. The day was coming to a close as the sky grew orange. As you stared, a grin crossed your lips. You'd never been happier than this, at least that's what you thought until all the color drained from your world.
