TACIT
[Read the author's note after]
'Dulcis Bakery' is the bake shop where Park Chanyeol is working for God knows since when. He's been keeping himself inside its premises for a week even though the owner has been asking him to go home. He wants to but he can't remember where he lives. He just knows that he works at that bake shop with his friend Jongin who keeps flirting with his co-worker Kyungsoo. He just woke up one day and the owner calls him 'Park Chanyeol' and that he's been drunk for the past 10080 minutes. Which he believed never happened he can remember everything aside from what happened the past week. Though he feel that he's been missing something important in his life but he just can't bring himself to remember what it is.
Then one day Jongin mentioned a person that Chanyeol can't recognize but feels like he knew that person from somewhere but he still can't get himself to remember who it is. So Jongin thought that he was just messing around and told him that it was impossible for a person to forget just a single person.
"haha! Stop acting like you don't know everything about him! He's your everything hyung! That would be impossible so stop your freaking joke because it's not funny. Because if Baek hyung knew about this, you're dead meat." Jongin said.
"Baekhyun? Wait, seriously man. Who's BAEKHYUN?" Chanyeol really looked like he doesn't know Baekhyun so Jongin is left at awe.
"Hyung do you remember our double date with Kyungsoo and Baekhyun a few years ago?" Jongin asked him with a hint of 'hyung it's really an important memory' look. But Chanyeol can clearly remember that event but still no Baekhyun.
"I can remember everything that happened that day but I'm still not sure who that Baekhyun is. Can you just tell me why do you keep mentioning Baekhyun like he's my husband or something?" Chanyeol told Jongin.
"You live with him. You two are roommates. And he's your bestfriend." Jongin lied as he remember Baekhyun told him not to tell their real status.
As Jongin lead Chanyeol on his way home, Yeol noticed a small guy with small and that familiar eyes staring at him as if he's been waiting for chanyeol to go home on the bench in front of his house. 'Who is that?' he thought. The small guy approached him and it somewhat felt awkward.
"Excuse me but, do I KNOW you?" Chanyeol asked him but he just answered with a nod.
"Oh. We're neighbors?" again, the smaller guy just nodded. Chanyeol thought that the small guy doesn't want to talk to him. When he was going to open the door, he realized that he doesn't have a key. He was about to call Jongin but the smaller guy handed him the keys.
"Why do you have my keys—wait. Do we live together?" but then again the smaller guy just answered him with a nod. The small latter turned on the lights and proceeded to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Chanyeol keep an eye on him while having that strange feeling that he should be the one doing that for him. He kept thinking if they have some kind of relationship or something but he can't even remember what happened for the past 10080 minutes.
When the dinner is ready the smaller guy tapped the table three times with a beat which made Chanyeol look at him and go to the dining area which made the smaller guy smile. 'His mind forgot about me but not his heart.' For Chanyeol, it was very awkward to eat dinner with someone you don't even know, he wants to ask his name but he doesn't want the smaller guy to feel awkward. Chanyeol can't take the silence anymore so he started the conversation.
'S..so, ugh.. Just to tell you this.. umh.. I-..I can't remember what happened last 10080 minutes '. The smaller guy just looked at him, so he continued. 'I-I'm serious, and I don't know who you are.' This time the smaller guy stood up and went to the drawer beside Chanyeol, (which made Chanyeol nervous). The smaller guy took a pen and his note pad which is very familiar to Chanyeol. Started writing something and gave it to Chanyeol.
