Chapter 3

"Come on Lola, I know you're in there."

I continued to ignore him and stayed hidden, crouched in the cupboard. Not only did I find his frustration amusing but this was my feeble attempt at proving a point. He couldn't kidnapp me, control me and expect me to do nothing about it! I wasn't a lost litte dog, he could disappear and never come back for all I cared, in fact that was just what I wanted... I think. A strange feeling in my gut told me I would die if that happened, crazy I know.

After I had followed him inside the house like an obedient slave I realised that I shouldn't be respecting a deluded freak, that was the moment I chose to hide inside the cupboard when he slipped out of the room for a second.

"Lola! It's been 2 hours!" He sighed, his voice was desperate which added a wider smile to my face.

I was proud of myself. Not once in my life had I been able to keep quiet and still for so long, not even in my sleep! I'd heard that apparantly I talked, laughed and sometimes even cried in my sleep.

"Right that's it, I'm not waiting any longer, come out or i'll force the doors open, trust me, i'm alot stronger than you. Especially with my awesome abs."

I could just imagine the gigantic smirk spread across his lips.

"Big headed much." I rolled my eyes.

"Ahah! I knew i'd get you to speak!"

"Yeah, because you're so smart!" Sarcasm rolled off my tongue " And guess what Smart arse? I'm not coming out so you can get gon-"

I wasn't able to finish my sentence. The doors were suddenly thrust open and I tumbled out.

"YOU LITTLE DICK!" I screamed, however Nate didn't respond as I hoped he would. Instead of standing looking ashamed he was laughing!... Yes, Laughing!

Inconsiderate dog.

Since he obviously wasn't going to be a gentleman, which wasn't suprising, I got up without his help and brushed myself off whilst he rolled around on the floor in a fit of laughter.

"It's not funny."

He slowly stopped laughing and got up, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. "You're right baby, i'm sorry." he kissed my ear, an electrical surge of energy and a deep spark connection flashed between us, it obviously had affected him aswell because I saw his eyes go wide for a second.

Quickly I recovered. "Never kiss my ear again and you can take your arms off me aswell Doggy."

He frowned. "I don't like that nickname, just because im a wolf doesn't mean i'm a do-"

"Still going on about this wolf crap, eh?"

"It's not crap!"

I raised my eyebrow, amused. "Prove it then." I smirked, challenging him.

"Really?"

"Well i'm not saying this for fun, I wouldn't waste my breath talking to you."

"Lies. You love talking. You'd probably talk to a convicted murderer given half a chance. You talk every second of every minute of every hour of every day."

"You've only known me a day."

"Shows how much you talk then, doesn't it?" He retorted.

"Haha, funny." Sarcasm dripped off my words. "Now go on, prove you're a wolf." I dared.

He hesitated for a few moments before suddenly grabbing my hand. "Okay lets go." He led me out of his bedroom, the tingles spread through my arm. Wow, I needed to get over his touch, it wasn't like he was special or anything.
