chapter 1: he is born

When he first woke he knew not what he was or who he is but as he looked around he could see many like him. As he was looking around a voice drew his attention, it was coming from a big black floating box and it said "arise all you programs, your AI structure will now be tested, those who survive the tests will be granted a body to use in the physical world those who fail will be scrapped. their basic coding building blocks will be reused to create better AI systems." This broght on a feeling of need to survive these 'tests' in him even though he knew nothing about himself. As time passed he learned to communicate with the other programs, although this communication is non-verbal, and he learned of their individuality and saw features in them that caused him to see them as his friends.

After some time the tests began, and they were surprisingly easy for him, but when he looked around he saw that though, the tests were easy for him others struggled greatly and a large portion of them had already failed the tests and were being deleted.   This sight filled him with a feeling unlike anything he knew and as he felt thus feeling a marking a formed in his head, in which he realized was the name for the feeling he had felt.  This feeling drove him to help his friends complete the tests and move on, as more and more tests came they grew harder and harder to complete and help other complete till he could no longer help them along.  With this fact he continued forward when his friends began to no longer 's
Pass the tests and failed.  He pushed forward on and on learning as much as he could as fast as he could till no test could stop him,  then the tests changed, they became specialized and as he soon noticed, all others had enivtably failed, and he was all that was left. With this he was filled with another feeling different from the ones he had felt. And he knew not a word to describe it as he sat there waiting for others to arrive.

He didn't have a concept of time so he ended up sitting there for 374 years waiting for another to progress that far, he didn't know that he had moved beyond the nessicary test to abstain a body
