"So, tell me what happened! I wanna here all the juicy details!" April said as Freya opened the door. It was the day after her date with Brad and April had come over to hear all about it.

"Just give me a minute to pop the kettle on." Freya replied as April made herself comfortable on the sofa in the lounge. 5 minutes later, Freya walked into the lounge carrying two cups of tea. "Thank you" April said and Freya handed her a cup. She then tucked her feet under her bum and looked at Freya.

"What?" Freya said, smiling.

"Don’t what me! You know what!" April replied eagerly. Freya took a deep breath and began replaying the events of the day before: After April left Freya house at 12, Freya jumped in the shower. She was singing her favourite song by The Vamps at the top of her voice, over and over again until she finished in the shower. When she got out, the first thing Freya did was put on The Vamps album and played it as loud as it would go so she could sing at the top of your voice without the neighbours hearing her. Freya dried your hair, put on her make up and put on the outfit April had specifically chosen the night before; a plain white vest top, a blue and pink floral skirt from Topshop and her favourite pair of strappy summer sandals, after all, it was 30 degrees outside where the sky was a clear, bright blue with a gentle breeze under the scorching sun. Freya picked up her pale pink satchel, threw it over her shoulder and put on her aviator sunglasses. She took one last look in the mirror, took a deep breath and headed out to the bus stop.

20 minutes later, Freya was ringing the bell to get off the bus. She was 15 minutes early, so she thought you would have to wait outside Starbucks for a bit. When she got there, Freya was surprised to see Brad leaning against the wall with one leg up and him on his phone, already waiting for her. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt with a dog tag, rolled up jeans and sunglasses on. “Oh my” She thought. Freya stopped to take a deep breath and calm her nerves. As she did this, Brad looked up. He immediately spotted her and the biggest smile came across his face. Freya smiled back and looked at the ground, she could feel herself blushing. She pushed her hair behind one ear and looked back up in his direction. Slowly, Freya made your way over to Brad. He pushed himself off the wall, put his phone in his back pocket and removed his sunglasses. Freya swooned at the sight of his chocolate brown eyes as they met hers.

"Hey" he said as he leaned in and kissed her softly on the cheek.

She blushed again. "Hi" Freya replied nervously. "So you ready?" She said.

"Actually, there's been a slight change of plan" she didn't like the sound of that, but let him explain anyway.

"Okay.." Freya said, fearing the worst.

"I've kind of organised something else for us instead? I hope that's okay!" he explained.

Freya relaxed a little, knowing that he wasn't backing out on her. "What is it?" she said curiously. He gave a cheeky grin. "Ah. You will just have to come with me." her eyes were locked on his and she saw the excitement in his eyes. Freya was going to question him, but thought it best to just go along with it.

"I guess I will" she said, trying to sound cheeky and flirty. He took Freya’s hand and entwined his fingers with hers. She still couldn't believe she was with Brad, let alone on a date and holding hands with him.

She wasn’t really paying attention to where Brad was taking her until he said "we're here." Freya suddenly realised they were standing in front of a picnic blanket that was laid out with food and drink. The view of the sun reflecting onto the sea was directly in front of them.
