Im fighting a battle
To let me know I matter
And to hang on and get better
Because the dark will soon consume me
And the light part will soon flee
I am a part of you
And someone's gotta watch out for you
So the advice I can give
Is for you to breath in and live
Express from your heart
Be passionate, be smart
For I am a shadow
You walk and I follow
I know you better than anyone
And I know when you need fun
Try to stay in the light
Try to laugh and not fight
But you can acknowledge the dark
Cause it will always be apart of you
