Percy's POV

I looked at Annabeth , laughing happily beside the campfire at Camp Half Blood with all our friends after the war with Gaea. I love the way the fire illuminated her smooth blond hair, which dances around her face as wind blew past us and the way her grey stormy eyes seemed to shine by the fire.

" What is it , Seaweed Brain?" Annabeth asked , teasingly.

I just smiled at her and whispered softly so she would be the only one who can hear this.

" Just thinking about how much i love my Wise Girl."

Annabeth smiled back at me and i feel so , so contented and satisfied. After two wars and struggling to not die even with monsters and titans and whatnot planning to kill me every second , Annabeth and I would finally have a chance to give normal teenage life a try. Well... as normal as when one of your parents is a god that is.

" Well that's good because if you're thinking of someone else... about how you think about me, I'm will knock you brains out." Annabeth told me with a threatening look on her face.

I just held out my hand and waited for her's to come and hold mine . And when she does, i picked both of our hands up and pecked the back of her hand tenderly.

" I love you Annabeth, and only you . I promise," I said and was surprised by how i sound, a hundred percent sincerity was what I heard without the usual shyness and I liked that, I liked being confident about how I feel, especially towards Annabeth. After all we had been through, it only strengthens our relationship.

" Forever" I continued.

She gave me a kiss on the cheek and our friends by the campfire started giving us silly looks. Especially Leo and Piper who was making kissy faces and heart shapes with their hands.

" Oh, please guys.. " I said ,exasperated
. "Piper, you and Jason definitely do more than what we did every day and I didn't even say a thing."

Piper just gave a small giggle while Jason scratched his head shyly, the blush on his face evident.

" And Leo, don't get me started on you and Calypso."

Leo , being the dare devil he is, just leaned to the side and kissed his girlfriend. Earning a "oooh" from everyone.

He made a joke about that was how you win a girl but then Calypso smacked his hand and we all laughed heartily.

I felt Annabeth squeeze my hand and I looked over at her.

" Me too, Seaweed Brain" she said.

" Huh? " I asked , confused.

" I love you" she replied and said that single word, that meant so much to me.

" Forever."
