I nod, turning away from him.
I grab the black bra off the top of the pile and pull off the robe. Taylor sat back down on the toilet lid, sighing. He stared down at the bathroom tiled floor.
I pulled on the bra, then the underwear which I found in the pile. Then a grey aero tank top then, his own sweat pants.
I walk out of the bathroom when I was finished leaving Taylor.
I sigh, plopping onto my bed. I lay, my arms by my sides. The bed shifted, a warm body by my own.
It was silent for a while, just the sound of our breathing.
"Schools in a week. How do you feel, babe?" Taylor whispered, turning onto his side to face me. I thought for a moment, going back and forth between excited and scared.
"Um. I'm between excited and scared. I don't know." I laugh at the end at how silly I sound.
"Me too, me too."
Another sigh escapes my parted lips, "What do you mean? Why are you scared?"
"Cause. I feel scared. I don't know. Something tells me to be afraid." he explains.
I nod.
He sighs, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. He pulled me into his chest, still laying on my bed.
We both fell asleep, and fast.
"Wake up, baby."
"Please, wake up."
I peel open my heavy eye lids, feeling the disgusting feeling of sickness.
Taylor stood over me, giving me a quick peck on his cheek.
"Good morning, Taylor." I mumble, stretching
"Hey, baby. My mom just called, wants me home. I'll text you or see you later."
I nod, watching as Taylor opens the balcony door then closing it. He climbed over to his room from his window, tripping over something laying on his floor.
I laugh at him, turning around.
I roll out of bed, fall onto the hard wood floor. I burst out laughing at my stupidness.
I stand off the floor, ignoring the oblivion of not knowing if the group was here or not. I walk down the stairs, empty-minded.
I walked to the kitchen to see a note from my mom.
Marie,
I'm so sorry. I was at work late last night and found out I had to go to an emergency meeting because I'm new to the job. So I guess their going to teach me something? I don't even know. But I got home and packed, I don't know how long this trip is. But I want you to be careful. I'm worried, but I informed Taylor and his parents and if their is anything you need, go to them. Also, Taylor can stay while I'm away because of the group. I hope I'm back before school starts in a week. I love you, and I'm sorry.
From: Mom
I sigh at the note.
I walk to the cabinet, grabbing cereal then a bowl. I poured some cereal into the bowl then some milk. I ate slowly while watching FRIENDS on TV.
Afterwards, I went up stairs. I walked into my closet, grabbing a bathing suit. I pulled all my clothes off, then put on the bathing suit.
Then, after grabbing sunglasses and tanning lotion, I walked down stairs and out the back door.
I look around at the back yard and pool area. There was a pool patio area with a table and chairs, then the pool. There was a hot tub near the pool, in the pool area. There was also a blue slide. Then there was a large grass area full of soft deep green grass.
I walk over the soft green grass, laying down. A soft sigh escapes my lips, my eyes closing behind my sunglasses.
Soon, a presence was felt on my right. Then my left.
