RING! RING! RIIIIIING!

Shoot, damn this alarm clock. I scrambled to turn the alarm clock off. I quickly took a bath and changed into some random pair of jeans, checkered blouse and a pair of top siders. I ran downstairs and saw Chase lying down on the sofa.

"What are you doing here Chase?" I said.

He looked at me and smirked, "Is that what you're gonna say to the person who'll bring you to school today?"

"I don't need to be brought to school I can go there on my own."

"Oh really? In this really rainy weather?" he said. I looked outside and saw that it was true. Heavy rain was pouring and strong winds were blowing.

"Argh, okay fine. You win." I sighed. He got up and smiled. Ohh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Catherine Ariadne Greene. A soccer varsity player. I study at Ridgeford Academy. School for the rich. Not to brag, but that's what other people call our school. I'm not really a popular kid, maybe a rank lower. The person that's bringing me to school today is Chase Carter. My best friend and childhood friend. He has a twin brother, Jace Carter, who is also my best friend. Chase is Basketball team's star player, while Jace is the Star Player of the soccer team.

"Where's Jace anyway?" I asked while munching on a slice of bread.

"He went ahead. He had soccer practice." Chase replied.

"In this rain?"

"Probably. They play even when it rains remember?" he said.

"Yeah." I said and went out of the house. I entered his car, a white BMW M8. I sat at the passenger's seat. "I gotta fetch my girl for the week. Okay with you?" he asked.

"Yeah sure. Whatever." I said while rolling my eyes. You see, Chase is perfect. He's handsome, great at playing basketball and painting. But one thing that's not great about him is his being a Cassanova. He plays with girls emotion.

We stopped and Chase went to get his girl of the week. A girl wearing a tank top and a mini skirt went out. Therefore, I infer that she is a slut. The moment she saw Chase, she hugged him and clinged on like a koala bear. Chase got in and I can see that the girl is heading towards my door. She opened my door and was shocked to see me seated there.

"My seat, not yours." I told her.

"Tch." She said and transferred to the back seat. "Sorry babe, that's really Cathy's seat." Chase smiled.

"So she's more important to you compared to me?" She said angrily. You could see the fumes blowing out of her nostrils.

"Of course she's more important, she's my best friend! Hahaha!" Chase laugh. I looked at the girl and she was shocked. If only I could take a photo of her, I would. She looked at me and I smiled and teased her by putting my tongue out. I silently laugh while she lowered her head in humiliation.

"Ugh, hurry up Chase, I need to get my shoes from Jace." I complained.

"Why not you do the driving? Bossy little girl." He replied.

"What did you just call me? Huh Chase?"

"Bossy. Little. Girl." He said with much exaggeration.

"I just wanted you to go faster! I didn't boss you around!"

"There's no point arguing with you. You don't listen. You're stubborn." He said with his eyebrows crossing each other.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU CHASE? That was just a small little suggestion!"

"You know what? Were finally here." He said. The girl at the back just looked at us and smirked. She must be happy that Chase and I are fighting.

"Ohh, that great. I'm outta here." I said while going out and I slammed the door really hard. I quickly ran to the soccer field and saw Jace their playing with the rest of the team.

"Jaaaaaaaaace!" I shouted. He looked at me and stopped playing. The rest of his team looked at me with an annoyed expression on their face.

"What is it now?" he said expressionless.

"Chase and I fought and that dumb girl of the week of his is annoying!" I shared.

"That's none of my business." Jace replied and began to run with the ball.

"Aww, come on Jace. You're as cold as ever." I pouted.

He looked at me and hugged me all of a sudden. "I don't want to two of you to fight. Go to the locker room, get my keys, get your shoes and lets play for a while." He said and placed his head above mine, while we were hugging.

"How's playing gonna solve anything?" I asked. Still wrapped in his arms.

"You can't approach him without me can you? So while I'm playing, lets play for a while, then I'll help you." He said.

"Ack. Still cold as ever Jace." I smiled and he let go.

"If I was cold, I wouldn't have helped you in all your problems till now." He said while walking away.

"And that's why I love you Jace!" I said and kissed his cheek.

He just stood the expressionless and continued to run with the ball. Jace never changes. He's still cold as ever. Anyway, if you're wondering, there is nothing between me and Jace. Okay?

I did as he said, I grabbed his keys and went to the parking lot. There I saw a bunch of girls waiting around Jace's car.

"If it isn't Catherine Greene." One girl said.

"What do you want?" I said. My fists were ready for a fight.

"Ohh, nothing in particular, we just want you to leave Chase and Jace alone!" another screamed.

"You even have Jace's keys? You stole didn't you?" one said.

"Ohh you lying bitch. Why are you using them?"

They surrounded me and pushed me against a wall. No matter how strong I was, I was no match for this many. They were about to grab my hair when someone said, "What are you doing to Cathy?"

The girls panicked when they saw that is was Chase.

"Chase! Why do you even bother saving this bitch?" one girl said.

"Bitch? She's my best friend! I would save her anytime, any place! Now leave before I'll hurt you!" the girl quickly ran and cried.

"Thanks Chase." I smiled.

He offered his hand and said, "Friends?" I shook his hand and replied, "Friends."

I then grabbed everything I needed and we headed to the field.
