I flopped on my bed. Something was poking my butt; I flipped on my stomach and reached my hands behind myself and pulled a letter out. I forgot I placed it there after lunch. I never opened it so I guess I will now. Better now than later. It read:
Dear Dani,
I’m sorry for everything that happened. I know that I am too late but I want you to know that I will always have something special for you. I’m sorry.
I lied it would be much better if I read it later. I ripped it up and threw it in the trash. “New chapter in my new life. No room for the old.” I told myself before leaving my bedroom.
