Lillian's P.O.V.

"Come on boys! Try to keep up!", I shouted over my shoulder to the three Mikaelson brothers running behind Rebekah and I. My hands were clutching tightly to the sides of my dress to keep it from getting caught on branches as I zipped past trees.

I was of course in the lead since I was the fastest. I could hear their laughter as they followed. Racing to the lake as fast as we could was how we decided to spend our time today. I leaped high above a root my dress flaring out behind me as I went.

Niklaus caught up and was running at my flank, his laughter reaching my ears causing me to smile. Kol was not far behind us. Henrik raced fast to keep up with us who were older. I had to say he was doing a pretty good job too. I reached the small clearing of trees and ran ahead towards the lake.

I stopped at the giant oak tree that rested beside the crystal water. Skidding to a sudden stop I reached down to pull my shoes from my feet. I barely had my second shoe off when Niklaus and Kol came up behind me doing the same. I nearly fell over while trying to pull my shoe off my foot but Niklaus caught me in his arms and set me straight again. Kol laughed at me very amused at my clumsiness.

Rebekah and Henrik came in last together and started to pull at their own shoes. Giggles and laughter floated through the air as we tried to pull our clothes off as quickly as possible while also trying to catch our breath. Just like me Kol nearly lost his balance when he pulled at his other shoe making more laughter erupt from the rest of us.

The boys undressed quicker since they wore clothes that was easy to remove. Rebekah and I had to remove our dresses which took more effort. Once the boys were left in their trousers they left us girls and ran into the water sending sprays of water every where.

I tugged one last time at my dress and it came off. I stood in my thin under dress that reached my knees (women's under garments). I turned helping Rebekah with her own dress before grabbing her hand and running after the three Mikaelson brothers.

When we reached them I released Rebekah's hand and jumped on Kol's back causing him to loose balance sending both of us under the water. I quickly surfaced Kol doing the same seconds later. His brown locks sticking to his face and him coughing up a storm. Everyone bust into laughter at this sight.

I hugged him to show I meant no harm by my actions. Kol smirked wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "I got an idea. Why don't we play a game? Niklaus and Kol against Rebekah, Lillian and I.", Henrik offered.

I thought it was a great idea and nodded my head vigorously in agreement to the idea. The three remaining Mikaelsons agreed just as enthusiastically. We split into the two designated groups and started playing.

Our fun lasted for hours on end. The sun was ever so slowly descending the sky toward the west. At this very moment Rebekah, Henrik and I were hiding behind some water shrubs near the shore while Kol and Niklaus searched for us.

"Come on out guys! We don't bite!", Niklaus shouted from a few feet away. We were holding our breath and holding onto each other tightly. We couldn't see them since we were so well hidden but we could hear how close they were getting.

Henrik and Rebekah were holding hands on my right, trying desperately to not make a sound. The smell of the sweet lavender among the reeds was a reminder of all the times we came here and would come again.

Kol and Niklaus knew Rebekah and I loved the lavender and always tended to be near them. I was really hoping that they would forget this piece of information as we were hiding right beside a large bush of them. We could here as Niklaus waded away towards our left.
