Summer's POV

I stormed out of the Hall of Mirrors after I found John Stephen, taking his hand in mine and practically dragging him toward the Tilt A Whirl where the others were. "What is going on?" he asked as we walked. "Nothing." I said, briskly. He shook his head and opened his mouth like he was about to speak, but was cut off by another voice. "Summer, wait. Stop!" the voice, that I now recognized as Baylor's, said loudly. I continued to walk away as the sound of his feet slapped against the pavement, trying to catch up to us.

"Summer!" he said, his hand wrapping around my wrist as he finally reached us. I turned, pulling against his grip. But he refused to let me go as I grabbed at his hand, still holding my wrist. "Let me go." I said, sternly as I stopped trying to escape. "Only if you listen to me." he said. "What is going on?" John Stephen asked, staring at the two of us in shock. Neither of us acknowledged him as we continued to glare at each other. Or rather,as I continued to glare at Baylor.

"Please, just listen." he said. I pause for a moment before looking into his gray eyes. I sighed, knowing he wasn't going to let go unless I heard him out. He gestured to a bench on the side of the path a little ways behind us. I nodded and turned to John. "Why don't you go find the others. We'll catch up in a few." I said, taking his hand. He nodded, pulling me into a hug and pressing a gentle kiss to the top of my head.

Baylor and I walked over to the bench and sat down. "Summer, look I'm really sor-" "Do not say you're sorry. Don't even think about it. I know you're not. You know you're not. So, why lie to either of us?" I said. He looked down at his feet as he sighed. "You're right." he said. I didn't say anything as his eyes traveled back up to meet mine. "I'm not sorry. I'm glad I did what I did. I did what I had to." he said. My jaw dropped as he finished speaking.

"You 'did what you had to'? What do you mean, you did not have to do that. You had no reason to kiss me, what is wrong with you." I shouted, rising from the bench. "Forget this." I said, straightening my outfit. "I don't have to listen to another word. You are a shallow, conceded jerk and I refuse to be seen with you or speak to you again unless its absolutely necessary." I said, loudly. I turned from him and stormed toward the Tilt A Whirl once again.

Ignoring Baylor's shouts, I turned the corner to find the guys and Lacey sitting on a bench and standing around it. "Can we go?" I asked them. "But we just got here..." Cam said. I looked at Lacey and I knew she could tell what's wrong. "We can come back another day. Let's go." she said, standing and intertwining her fingers with Cole's. "What about Baylor?" Cole said.

I shook my head. "He wants to stay for a while." I said, looking back in the direction I came from. At that moment, I didn't even care why he hasn't caught up to me yet. All I cared about was getting as far from here as possible. They guys nodded and we all headed out to the parking lot. Just as we got to the park gates, Baylor came running up behind us.

"Where are you guys going?" he said, worried. "We were just about to go. Summer said you wanted to stay a while longer." Cole said, facing Baylor. Baylor's eyebrows knit together, looking confused before his face relaxed and he shook his head. "Yeah, I uh, I changed my mind." he said, looking over at me.

I laced my fingers with John Stephen's and we walked to the car, slightly ahead of everyone else. Lacey and Cole eventually caught up with us, walking next to us. "When we get back, we're talking about this." Lacey whispered, leaning closer to me. She pulled away and glanced at me as I nodded slightly.

Lacey's POV

Once we were both safely in our dorm, the guys all headed back to their dorms. I shut the door as Cole released my hand and left the dorm building. "Alright, what the hell happened back there?" I asked, turning to Summer who was sitting on the couch. She looked down, mumbling something. "What was that?" I said, sitting next yo her on the couch. "Baylor kissed me." she murmured. I pulled away from her, shocked.

"What?! When did that happen? Did you kiss him back? Why did he kiss you? What was he even thinking?" I said, rambling on loudly. Summer looked at me. "Slow down!" she said. I nodded, as I calmed myself before gesturing for her to continue. "We were in the Hall of Mirrors and I reached out yo see if it was really him. His hands wrapped around mine and I intertwined our fingers. I started to turn to go find John Stephen and he pulled me back and just kissed me." she said. My jaw dropped but I didn't say anything, knowing there had to be more and allowing her to go on.

"I pulled away from him and finally found John. Then I dragged him out of the hall and headed toward where you all were. Baylor managed to catch up with us and asked to talk to me. I agreed, stupidly, and we sat down to talk about it." she said. After telling me the rest of the story, I was already fuming mad. How could he do something so terrible. He such a douche. "What a douche!" I said, speaking my thoughts. Summer nodded.

"Well, what are we gonna do about it?" I asked d, as I watch her wit there and say nothing else. "What do you mean?" she asked, looking up at me with a confused look on her face. "I mean, how do we teach him a lesson. How do we get revenge?"
