Chapter 1 - The Beginning.

*Alex's POV*

Her eyes. The way they shone when she laughed. She captivated me. Made me forget my past, she is everything I live for.

The way her hair falls down her shoulders, the way her smile illuminates the room, the way she laughs enchants me, and when she enters a room all eyes fall on her. She's mine.

That stunning, radiant woman is all mine.

Her chocolate brown eyes smile at me. She makes me free, she makes me happy. And that's when I knew. I knew I loved her.

*Kiela's POV*

Me. Just Kiela. Just another average human floating her way through life. Nothing special, except my name of course. I'm guessing you can't pronounce it, right? No, don't worry not many can. So let me help you out! It's pronounced Kai-la or Cai-la, got it? No? Don't worry, me neither! Anyway, onwards with my boring life.

*Alex's POV*

Boring. Boring, boring, boring. This case is so generic. The girl fights her ex for custody, she wins, we all get to go home. Like I haven't seen this a million times before!

I check my watch - she's fifteen minutes late, take your time dear, it's not like this is important or anything.

The door creaks open, interrupting my rant and I swivel my head to catch a glimpse of 'Kiela' - I think that's what her name was on the file.

My gosh, I'm immediately knocked back in my seat. Her beauty lights up the darkened room. Her hair falls loosely down her shoulders.

She's carrying the most gorgeous little girl I've ever encountered, like mother like daughter I guess. Her piercing blue eyes shine like the sun off the ocean. Her dark brown ringlets lay perfectly around her petite face.

I'm mesmerised, captivated, blown away. No words can express the beauty of the two girls who not only just entered the court room but just entered my heart.
