Julie was only six when she lost her parents in an accident. She lived with her grandmother who taught her to write letters. Her grandmother told her that her parents were with God. Julie decided to write a letter to God.
"Dear God,
My granny tells me that my parents are with you. She also tells me you have a lot of friends in heaven. I don't know where Heaven is but I want to come there to meet my parents.
I can't sleep at night because Mommy is not there to sing me a lullaby. I don't know how to play baseball because Daddy is not there to throw the ball. Granny loves me but she is too old to carry me on her back. Please tell my Mommy and Daddy to come back to me. I promise to be a good girl. I won't throw the greens out of my plate, I will not push the boy who sits next to me on the school bench.
I won't watch tv or play video games. All I want is for my parents to come back. I miss them everyday. When tears roll out of my eyes while sleeping alone in my bed, when I am scared, why is Mommy not there to calm me and put me back to bed?
Granny tells me you love children and grant all their wishes. Please send me my Mommy and Daddy or take me to them.
