By the time I get to 3rd hour I'm irritated as hell. People are fucking stupid here. What? You've never seen a new kid before? Get over it.

When I walk in the room I get ready for the stares, but then I realize nobody was in here. Maybe I have the wrong class or something.. I go back out and check my schedule to confirm the room number when this really big guy bumps into me.

Now I'm not a girl that's all about the looks, but this kid was hot. He was tall, maybe around 6'3, had brown hair, surprisingly gorgeous brown eyes, and some full lips. Damn, I've never seen brown eyes twinkle like his, if that makes sense. Who cares, bottom line, this guy was fucking sexy.

And he's staring right at you! Look away dumbass!

I look down and shuffle my feet, trying not to make a fool of myself. Geez, did I have to make myself look retarded in front of this guy? I hope he doesn't think I'm a weirdo. I did just run into the guy.

Hey! Wait a minute, this guy ran into me. And he didn't even apologize. Assh-

"Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to run into you. I'm Gabe." Okay, he's not an asshole.

I look back up at his handsome face, say, "It's okay. And my name is Alana," and smile; hoping to come off friendly. Jesus, look at those arms! I wonder what he bench presses. He could probably do me right now.

He nods, ruffling he creamy locks with one of his huge hands. "You in this class? I think we were supposed to meet in the library today, I could show you if you want." I nod eagerly and follow behind him, watching as his back muscles ripple while he walks.

"So, why are you so big?" I ask walking up beside him. He looks at me with a smile and I realize what I said. Why can't I just ask a normal question!?

He chuckles and says, "I'm a football player. I kind of have to be big. In muscle mass anyways. I'm tall because of genetics. Why are you so small?" he teases.

"Genetics," I tease back. That's right baby. I'm back. Flirting is a little bit of a specialty of mine. Most of the time I don't even realize I'm doing it.

Sadly the library was only a couple of hallways away, so that was pretty much the end of our conversation.

Walking in, I notice people talking away while the teacher sits by a computer facing away from us, which means he's probably playing solitare or something. Gabe looks out across the room and seems to find what he's looking for because he turns back to me and asks if I want to sit with him. Obviously I say yes. I mean he's hot, so why not? Hey, that rhymed!

I walk behind him and come up to a table with a group of people I did not expect. There's a nerdy guy, a pretty girl, and a chick who you can tell is really shy. Thank God this guy isn't a stuck up jackass who only hangs out with jocks and sluts.

They all look up at us and I start my introduction. "Hi. I'm Alana Clarino, just moved here."

The pretty girl takes the liberty to speak up and introduce everyone and I can tell she's pretty outgoing. "I'm Marcie Blance," she points to the shy one, "that's Lucinda Marks, but we call her Luce. And this guy," she points to the nerdy one, "is Dominic Lorsena. We call him Dom."

I nod, sit down, and observe. Marcie is talking animatedly about some party that's going to happen this weekend while the rest listen. There's a bunch of names mentioned and since I know nothing about them I tune out and look around. This is a pretty big library for a high school. There's probably other sitting area's somewhere lost in this sea of books. I'm a closet bookworm so this is like heaven to me. I remember as a little girl I was always reading weither it was a school assigned book or ones that my dad and I got from the bookstore next to our apartment. I wonder if anyone would notice if I wandered off and looked for a good read. Probably not. I start to get up but someone grabs my hand. I look down and see Luce holding it. "Hey where are you going," she asks with a smile. I'm caught off guard because she's pretty in a unique way that you can't see at first because she's so shy.
