"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!"

"WHY WON'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE..."

"Why?" I start sobbing...

My old nightmare walks to me with slight amusement.

"Y/N... It's just me... Your father..."

"YOU HURT ME, AND YOU HURT MOM."

"You are just imagining things. How dare you accuse me of such things... I simply punished you and your mother for not listening to me. I will punish you now. Stop being such a naughty girl..."

His hand reaches towards me.

I scream...

"Y/N are you ok?" a familiar voice kindly asks.

"I d- I-"

"Shh... It's ok... You're here with me... Your dad is in jail... You're here with me..."

I cry into the arms of my husband... I feel ashamed, scared, and... trapped. Thankfully, BamBam can comfort me... He knows what I went through... All that trauma... My dreams often come back...

"It's ok... I'm here and I love you."

"Thank you, BamBam."

"I will always be here..."
