This was it. She had found it. The reason that boy in her History class was acting so strange. Lycanthropy. Everything matched up.
A few weeks ago, her curiosity enticed her to follow said boy home. His skin was extremely scaly and he continuously scratched it. His eyes darted around and he was extremely pale and thin. She knew it was wrong to basically stalk him, but she couldn't help herself. She found the whole situation unfathomably intriguing.
When the boy finally reached home, she could no longer see him. All his windows were covered and no way was she getting arrested for breaking and entering. So she turned and headed home. But seconds after her first step, she heard a whimper of a dog.
She did some research and no one in that part of town owned a dog. This only led her to do more research on where the hell the whimper came from. Thus leading to a long afternoon clicking on one link to the next. Only it took longer than an afternoon.
Tonight, she found it. It was in black and white right in front of her. The fruits of labor sure are sweet.
Then it hit her. Someone she knew was basically turning into a werewolf. This was crazy. No one would believe her. Then the thought occurred that he could hurt someone. Kill someone, even.
She had to print this out. Get some proof on the boy. Something so people would believe her. But...what could they do? They surely couldn't kill the boy, that's insane.
..They wouldn't...
..Would they?
Never the less, she clicked print.
Then, before she could click the okay button, she heard a growl. A deep, guttural, hungry growl. Right behind her.
She froze. She couldn't find her voice fast enough to scream.
And then it attacked.
