Jusaan
Jusaan; pronounced Jew-sawn, is one of the main characters in this book. She's a teenage girl that has a rough life but pushes all that past her and becomes very successful. Her life growing up as a child through to her teenage years was the roughest part of her life but being the strong and determined being she is, she conquered her nightmares and made her dreams come true.
Sage
Sage is Jusaan's childhood best friend/crush/love of her life. He was born with not one, but two golden spoons in his mouth. His father is an economist and his mother is a high-end fashion designer. Sage was well brought up but suffered from depression and made some bad life decisions trying to battle his demons. He made something of himself and made everyone around him proud.
Rebecca
Rebecca is a mutual friend of both Jusaan and Sage. She lived a middle-class life growing up with her father being a businessman and her mom a housewife. She was smart but not as smart as Jusaan but smarter than Sage. She also suffered from a sickness which she hid from her closest friends until she was unable to do so anymore.
