How Does it End?

I was sitting at my windowsill

Starring outside

When along came an old man

Smiling wide

He said “take a look at this here book

You’ll find it quite amusing.”

And he dropped the book in my lap

Then walked away.

I opened the book and found Ch. 1

it was really quite confusing.

I read on and on through the night.

Till I realized something.

You should never read the book of life

in the night.

But now I can’t put it down because I need to know...

What is the plot twist?

Is there a villain in disguise?

Is there a knight in shinning armor?

Is there a mystery unsolved?

What is the climax?

Does someone I love die suddenly?

Does someone turn out to be bad?

Do I wind up crazy?

But most importantly,

How does it end?

Someone just told a lie.

My life is passing by.

But now I can’t put it down because I need to know.
