A/N: Just some fluff. I really hate this site and its users tbh but it's a good place to dump stuff.
Franziska lay wide awake on her bed despite the fact that the rest of the world was asleep, or, at least to her, it should be. She let in a sharp intake of breath as a tiny change hit her like a bullet despite its minutity. Remembering how she should be sleeping the prosecutor rolled over on her side. However, being nine months pregnant and being due any day made getting comfortable difficult. Even though she was confined to resting and the bed most of the day she hardly got any sleep. Sighing, she cuddled closer to her husband, Shi-Long Lang.
"Can't sleep?" Lang questioned as he rolled over to face Franziska.
"L-Lang? I-I though you were asleep..." The whip-wielding prosecutor murmured as she felt a warm arm snake around her back and bring her closer to him, "But yes, I can't sleep."
"Uncomfortable?"
"Early contractions." Franziska replied solemnly while rubbing her swollen belly.
"You're not saying it's-."
"No, but, it's just difficult. I mean, we're going to be a family in less than a few days, I'm not sure if I'm going to be a good mother..."
"Nonsense, you're going to be a lovely mother, Franziska." Shi-Long Lang nuzzled his partner and brought her closer.
"I'm almost glad it's only a few more days, I don't honestly think I could get any bigger." Franziska chuckled sheepishly, eyeing her swollen midsection. A loving smile came to the Interpol Agent's face as he showered his wife with kisses.
"Ack! Lang..." Franziska trailed off at the sudden act of affection and blushed heavily. Nesting her head under his chin she had effectively averted his love and cuddled up even closer.
"Mmm, I love you, Franziska."
"I love you too, Lang."
The couple remained like that for many minutes simply enjoying the warmth and company of each other. And also relishing on the other present member safely tucked away within Franziska's womb.
"...Lang?"
"Yes?"
"I-I think my water just broke..."
