As Amelia opened the car door, heads turned and a crowd started to form around her. People from all the different social groups came together to congratulate her on her days arrival. The first thing that popped into Amelia's mind was, who told!
"how do you guys how about that?" she asked, in the nicest tone possible for the situation. As she said that the entire crowd, all at one said
"josh told us." boom. Amelia had figured out the whole situation, of course it was josh! That idiot couldn't keep a secret to save his life. Now she just had to find a way to deal with all these people.
"how long have you guys known, I never gave josh permission to tell anyone." A hint of anger and mistrust slowly making an appearance as she continued to talk. By this point she was not mad, just disappointed that her best friend, since kindergarten would do this to her.
By the time she managed to get the crowd to leave her alone, the bell had rung and Amelia never got around to YELLING at Josh.
Her first block today was English, yay. Not only did she have to deal with all these people, but now she had to deal with Ms. Yernet. God, she hated that teacher. Of all the days, today they would be talking about Shakespeare and is "pure genius" again. This was going to be a very long day.
As she walked down the hall to her locker, Ms. Maretie stopped her and said, "I know I'm not you favourite teacher, but I wanted to say congratulations." Amelia had nothing to say. this teacher had literally ruined her year so far. so, she just replied, "thank you, I'm late for class. goodbye" and ran off down the hall at full speed, running right into Liam the school quarterback. she merely said she was sorry and kept running.
