Rachel listened in rapt attention as Jason explained the whole story. It was then she realized why Jason had lied to her. She thought she would be angry with him no matter what, but now she had second thoughts. Her brain couldn't deny that his plan was splendid but her heart said that she couldn't forgive him. Also she didn't forget about the tracker thing.
When they were inside the place, crouching on cold metal, Jason had said, "Rachel, I need you to remove all your clothes. And here wear these for the moment." He tossed her a gray sleeveless shirt and a black track.
She said, "What?!"
"He might have placed a tracker on you. You sure you didn't eat or drink anything there? And he didn't inject you with anything?"
"No. But Jason how can I do it here? Please understand."
"Rachel, this is no time for false modesty. Our friends are trapped there. We have to make sure we don't get caught. Make it fast. I won't look."
Then she had to strip her suit while Jason sat there staring into the oblivion below. She felt so ashamed back then. But Jason didn't care. All he cared about was winning. It was as though someone stripped him of his feelings; He also had the audacity to snap at her when she was taking a bit of time!
By then Rachel had given her a dose of Anaesthesia. The drugs started to kick in and Rachel started feeling dizzy. Susan led her to a room and placed her on a steel bed. Then she strapped on a couple of gloves, picked up some tools and started extracting the bullets from her. She didn't know what happened next as she blacked out completely.
When she woke up, she saw Susan staring at a computer screen. She tried getting up but Susan turned back and stopped her. "You need some rest honey."
"How serious are my wounds?" she asked.
"There was a bullet stuck in your clavicle. It didn't cause much damage to the bone. They just penetrated your skin and got stuck in the bones. Caused some internal bleeding, but I got it patched up. The regions the bullets hit weren't vital, meaning there weren't any vital organs around. So you will be fine. Your left shoulder might pain when you move it and its best if you don't walk."
Rachel stayed silent. Susan said, "Honey don't worry, it will be fine."
"How long was I out for?"
"Around an hour."
"Where is Jason?"
"He is...I don't know how to say this- In a secret lab."
"Whoa Whoa, One question. How did you know about the escape place and where did you get the other grenade?" Robert asked.
I said, "It's not important. I had some resources."
"Resources inside a mall under attack?"
"Yes."
"Ugh, never mind. Well I have to admit, that was some dope escape man. Really smart plans, perfect execution. How did your plans stay on route?"
"I know about people. I know the way they think, the way they react. I used my knowledge to determine the reaction of the people around. This gave me the power to control them like puppets and execute my plans perfectly."
"But you were really cold, dude. You killed that woman with the mouthwash and don't even care?"
"Some things had to be done to win Lloyd."
"So what's your next move?"
"Well, Rachel is being operated by Susan. She'll be alright. There weren't any major organs around her bullet wounds. Just got to get them out and apply some anti-septic and it's done. But I came to you for another reason."
