I slowly opened my eyes. I sat there for a minute or two, letting my eyes adjust to the darkness of..... Wait. What was I lying in; I sat straight up and hit my head on the top of this box. I used my arms to feel around me. It felt like a... oh my goodness... a coffin, but made for two. Instantly I remembered.
One week earlier.
"Can I open my eyes yet" I begged. "Almost, you're so impatient princess" Christopher said. Grrrrr him and his surprises, first I'm dating the most handsome guy in the world. His long black hair fell over his grey eyes; he had plump red lips with snake bites just beneath his bottom lip, and a perfect white smile that made me melt in his hands. Second he told me I'm his soul mate. And third he's a vampire. "Ok you can open your eyes" Christopher said. He slowly removed his hands from my eyes. And when I saw what he had done my mouth fell open. "It's so lovely." I whispered. There on his balcony he set up a table for two. A small table with a white table cloth draped over it with a vase of black roses in the middle. My favorite. Two white china plates held peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Yes, it's my favorite dinner. Christopher grabbed my hand and led me to the table and pulled out the chair for me. Such a gentlemen. He sat down and himself and quietly said "I hope you like it Victoria." "Oh I love it, it's all my favorites. Moon lit dinners, black roses, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches" I answered as I shoved a big mouth full of dinner into my mouth. He just smirked and laughed. "What's so funny?" I asked. "You. You look like a chipmunk with your mouth full of food" he answered as he continued to laugh. I finished my food. "Oh. Well then." "Don't worry I thought it was cute" he said as he broke out into one of his famous smiles that flashed his teeth. I smiled back at him and turned my attention to the stars. Suddenly I heard "when I'm with you" by Faber drive. This was our song. I turned my head I saw Christopher by the radio. Suddenly he was by side, pulling me up. We started to dance. "Christopher..." I said. "Yes?" he answered. I looked up into his eyes "change me" I whispered. "Victoria... are you sure?" he asked. "Yes. I love you. You even told me we were soul mates. I want to be with you for eternity. I want you to stop worrying about me." I answered. He smirked and flashed a smile this time fangs and all. He brushed my hair away from and neck. I felt my vein throb as his fangs brushed passed it. He bit down. I felt a sharp pain then a burning feeling. It felt like I was on fire. Then everything started to go black. I felt Christopher lift me up and carry me inside. The last thing I heard was "sleep tight. I will be here when you wake up"
*End of flashback*
My hand instantly flew up to my neck. I felt two marks on my neck. Fang marks. It was sore to the touch. I smiled I was finally a vampire. Finally all of Christopher's. Finally we could be together forever. Just I thought that the lid of the coffin slid off and bright light flooded in. "good morning, sleeping beauty." He said as he helped me up. "How long was I asleep for?" I asked. "One week" he said as he smirked. "ONE WEEK." I shouted. "WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP" "you were changing, It's the body's defense to the pain. But now look at you. Your stunning." Christopher said as he checked me out. I groaned as I walked over to the mirror. Oh my goodness. He was right. I had pale white skin, glowing green eyes, my black hair now had streaks of blonde in it. I went to smile and saw my now perfect straight white teeth and two new sharp fangs. I turned to Christopher, he just stood there smiling. "Now time to start planning to wedding." A WEDDING. We are 18, what are our parents going to say well more of what mine are going to say. Oh my goodness. My parents. Me a vampire. Oh no.
