Chapter 23

*Jeonghye's p.o.v**Next day*

"Couldn't they've just removed math today" Kyungwook whines 

"Nope, now stop whining" I laugh at him

"but" He continues to whine 

" not to be like that Jeonghye but I think you have an admirer" Jaekwan laughs and I look around and see Taeha staring at me 

I smile and wave at him and he starts walking towards our table

"Hello Oh Taeha," I say smiling and wave slightly 

"Hiii Jeonghye, I wanted to say thanks for the guide yesterday so here," he says and gives me a little present with candy and a little card

"Oh really it was nothing, You don't need to give me this stuff," I say trying t give back the present but he insists on me keeping it

"I want you to have it" He mumbles looking down

"Okay then thank you," I say as I stand up to give him a hug 

he walks away yet again and Kyungwook speaks up

"He so obviously has a crush on you, you know that right?" 

"He doesn't, don't be silly he just wanted to be nice," I tell him smiling a little

"you're lying to yourself" Jeongsung states 

"no I'm not shut up," I say slapping him slightly 

"whatever you say" Jaekwan laughs 

"come on let's do something," I say standing up

"ehhhh Jeonghye" I hear Nina behind me 

"Nina?" I say more of a question as I turn around 

and there she is, She is shorter than me so she looks really tiny 

"I need you to come with me" She mumbles and I follow her 

we go into the principal's room where the school president is sitting and everyone was staring at me 

"Miss Wang," They say and I sit down

"We know you declined this spot but we would like you to reconsider. but Juha needs to step down...and she wanted you to take over her spot" The principal explains to me and it seems to blanc everything 

"Why me? I mean you have Nina as wise president why can't she?" I ask pointing at Nina that is standing in the corner

"Cause Juha, first of all, requested you to be the one taking her spot plus Nina declined the spot" they explain and I nod 

"and the reason she needs to step down is that?" I ask raising my eyebrow

"She can explain that herself" He explains and I look over to her 

"I have not been a good president and just used the spot to not needing to go to class," She says and I nod slowly

"so you want me to take the spot, why?" I ask looking at her 

"Because I know you would do it correct plus I've seen you work alongside with Nina recently," She says looking down

"Fine, I'll take the spot," I tell them

I really did not want this spot since Now I won't be having a normal life really. Now I have everything else to take care of. but I felt like a duty and pressure to me.

we all left the room and outside was Jeongsung

"What was that about?" He asks me 

"I'm President now" I sigh walking with him

"Aye cool, now I can go around and call you prez" He squeals 

"You're a fucking child" I mumble  

"Anyways see you later I have class," He says smiling as he runs away 

I was making my way to the room the student council room, Even if I've never actually been an official member of the student council I've been in this room too many times. either because Juha wanted my help or Nina wanted my help.

"You've been here quite a lot..." Nina mumbles and I nod and sit down starting to work on whatever Juha has left 

"She has really done anything here" I sigh and start checking the papers that people have left as requests 

After a few minutes, someone knocks on the door

"Exucse me" I ear a voice and I look up from all the papers and I see Jeongsung

"this boy is looking for you" He says half annoyed while pointing at Taeha

"Taeha what is it?" I ask him trying to keep a smile when I am actually stressing right now 

"the counselor told me to come here" he mumbles and I nod slightly to make him go on

"She said here is where I get my schedule," He says nervously

"Oh, Yea I forgot about that. None of your friends has one either right?" I ask him and he shakes his head

I start printing out the schedules

"I thought you said you weren't president," He said whilst still standing by the door

"I happened to be asked to be put in the position again " I explain to him 

"Why? what happened to the old one?" he asks me and I shrug 

I am not actually allowed to talk my duties to him so why bother 

"here is your guys' schedule try to not lose them, I have other work than needing to print out paper for you okay?" I tell him and he nods before walking away and I continue working 

after a few hours I was finally done... until a familiar face walks into the room
