¨The end ...is near¨ The creature said in its distorted, evil sounded voice. Or at least that's what I think it said. I almost threw up. I didn't just see it. I felt it. I felt the curse it was putting on me. It was taunting me. It was luring me into it's trap. I felt it looking at me. I could feel it's nonexistent eyes apply it's cold, blank stare to mine. It was moving so vigorously, and spastic like it was possessed. I closed my eyes but it was still there. I could still see it as clear ever, I wasn't okay. I collapsed in my chair and fell to the floor. I puked loads. It felt like a was regurgitating all my innards. A few people rushed over and asked if I was okay. I didn't respond. I couldn't. Everything was blurry and I felt blood dripping from my nose into my mouth. I blacked out. I remember being lifted up and strapped down.
I heard the creature. This time it was screaming. It called my name.
"Clayton!” It wasn’t distorted this time. It was a man’s voice. It sounded very familiar. Like I had heard it a billion times before. But it still scared me. It was the last thing I heard for a long time. I felt weightless. Like I didn’t even exist. I saw a light. I saw many things in this bright light. That of which were my mother; my sister; and my baby cousin. I never knew my father. My mother told me he was killed in an accident. She never went too deeply into detail about it because she would always get too emotional and unstable enough to even talk. The light started to shake and tremble. It looked like a dying star. It eventually combusted and exploded into innumerable shards and elements of colors and light. It eventually self-assembled itself into a smaller, lower brightened light with a sort of blue tint to it. It gave off a feeling of serenity and hope. I looked into the light and saw Ticchep and a girl. I felt close to this girl. She gave off this protecting, and loving vibe to me. Sort of like my mother. I trusted the girl in a way, even though I had never met her. This blue light I soon learned to associate with memories and feelings of happiness. Then the blue faded into a blood red. I saw the dreaded creature I saw before along with terrible, brutal killings, human mutations, and abnormal monstrosities that of which no one can even begin to envision. I knew this was the light that showed me my darkest feelings and fears. These two lights switched from one to the other from time to time and I got used to seeing them both. I lost track of time. Time was meaningless where I was. As was my existence. I felt as if I ceased to exist from any reality. But at the same time, I felt so alive. I existed in my reality. In my own perception of time in my own space. Space. That word meaning so much at the moment. I felt as if I had infinite possibilities and choices. I was the god of my own reality. Then it stopped. Everything was bright. I awoke. I felt the smoothness of bedsheets and was blinded by a bright light. I was in a white room. The room had a television on the wall, a bathroom, and a large window on the right side of the room. I had an IV injected into my arm. I looked on both sides of me and saw both rails of a hospital bed. I was obviously being cared for in a hospital. Nobody was there. Not a single sound except the humming of the AC. There was a puddle of water on the floor that hadn't been cleaned yet. How long had I been out? Was it long term like a coma? I had to find someone who knew why I was here.
