Aiden's POV
"I hopped up outta bed. Turn my swag on..." my alarm sang.
Turning it off, I got up and looked at the mirror.
"Took a look in the mirror, said wuz up." I sang.
Looking good Aiden Walls.
"Please tell me you're not singing that stupid song again." My 11 year old sister smirked.
"Out of my room Alexandra."
"Mom! Aiden yelled at me!" she lied.
I rolled my eyes and got dressed. As I brushed my teeth, my phone buzzed.
Janitor's closet first thing in the morning. -Martha xoxo
See you then. -Aiden ;)
Today I'm on a roll.

Looking up from my phone, I spotted Lindsay Sagtrep and her long red hair braided to a side.
"Hey Lindsay." I greeted.
"Hey."
"Did it hurt?" I smiled trying a pick up line on her.
"What hurt?"
"When you fell down from heaven?"
She laughed and rolled her eyes as we hopped inside the bus. Taking a seat next to her, I felt the urge of asking her why she moved. Last week, a moving truck appeared next to the abandoned house right across from mine. She and her mom were moving in.
Why would she move and still go to the same school?
Lindsay and I have known each other for a pretty long time. Back in sixth grade, I secretly copied her tests and pranked her I bet she hates me.
Eh, the feeling is mutual.
Anyways, me? Liking Lindsay? Not in a million, or billion for that matter, years.

I could feel Martha's lipstick staining my face as we went into a full out make out session in the closet back in school.
I pressed her against me and trailed kisses down her neck, not forgetting to give her a hickey.
"Aiden Walls!" Martha giggled as I started to unbutton her shirt.
"Nobody Panic. Go hide and stay silent and calm. We have an intruder and he's firing shots..." I heard the intercom. All of a sudden, I jerked away and flew out of the closet and to the nearest classroom which happened to be my first period.
A school shooting.
I hid under the desk as I watched my classmates do the same thing with worry spreading across their faces. Lindsay being one of them as she ducked under the desk next to me.
That's when I started hearing the shots. They were dreadful and heart- stopping.
"Help." My teacher struggled to shut the classroom door. It got stuck. How?!
I ran quickly towards the front of the classroom where my teacher wore the face of horror as she tried to close the door.
"Go hide." I ushered Mrs.Field to the back of the room.
I pulled on the door as hard as I could but an eerie silence made me stop. Looking up, at a distance, I saw a man. His hair was disheveled and his blood shot eyes stared back at me. His creepy smile registered in my mind as I glanced at the gun in his right hand.
Pointing at me.
"Aiden!" someone screamed as I pulled the door one more time and got it to close and lock.
What I didn't see coming was the instant pain coming from the side of my body. I looked down and my shirt was stained with blood.
Darkness was the next thing that took over me.
