Another Weasley

Chapter 17

George hadn't felt much better as the year passed. His sister had made the team,same with Fred and Angelina. Angelina and Hazel were chasers,Fred and himself were beaters.

Oliver and him felt that the choice was wrong to make Alicia a sub seeker when she tried for chaser,but it wasn't their choice at all.

Katie Bell had joined their group as Alicia felt more separated and left them for now. Lee had gotten the role he loved,being a quidditch commentor.

Thankfully for the quidditch team members who couldn't afford brooms, the whole tower gave in some money and bought 4 decent brooms for Angelina and the Weasley triplets. Sure the boys were on Cleansweeps 5 and the girls on older comets but they were decent.

"I can't believe we have a game."George said to the group as they sat down at the Gryffindor table,in quidditch jumpers.

"First game of the season,too.Better eat up."Oliver said as Percy sat next to him.

"Hey Wood"Percy said, "good luck guys."

"Percy Weasley.Taking an intrest in quidditch."George joked.

"Weird."Hazel said.

"Whatever."Percy told them,"remember beat Slytherin."

"We will and when we do you have to come to the next match."Hazel told him looking at her comet.It was beautiful,but 2 new comets of an older model and two old cleansweeps.It wasn't the best predicament but they atleast have brooms of their own.After the first match they were going to etch their names into their brooms,it was a quidditch tradition according to Oliver. And that each year all the quidditch teams come together for it.

"So who do you think'll win?Us or Ravenclaw?"asked George.

"Us most likely."Angelina said, "Oliver's been working with Anlia,Hazel,and I on shots and working together.Plus Charlie's been out with us."

"Yea helping me."Alicia said,"he wanted me to try seeker this match and helped me out.I'm using Anlia's Nimbus 1999.She's using a school broom today."

"Leesh,You're playing with us."George said.

"Yes Georgie I am."Alicia said happily, "and I wanted to suprise you so I kinda flaked out on the group for a little while."

"That's amazing.You're like my sister you know."Hazel said,"sadly I have Ginny who is a lot  younger than me."

"Yea by 4 years."Fred pointed out causing everyone to laugh.

"By the time she's a fourth year we'll be 7th year dropouts unless mum stops us of course."Hazel pointed out.

"True.Very true."George said with a grin.

"Why would you guys even drop out. I mean you all are talented when you put your minds to it.Besides you all could work brilliant in the ministry."Percy told them

"Okay no offense Perce,but I don't think any of us want to have a ministry job." George told him.

"I actually am thinking maybe going into the department of magical internation co-operation might be a good choice."Fred said. Everyone looked at him, "what. I can learn of different cultures."

"Fred you okay,you and I have wanted to start a jokeshop in Diagon since before we met Hazel.It's our dream."George reminded him.

Fred shook his head as Oliver looked at them, "come on we have 30 minutes to practice before the game.Slytherin should be done with their 30 minute practice."

Everyone on the team nodded leaving to practice. This practice was mainly flying drills and catching and dodging. After 20 minutes they were told to be off the pitch as people were arriving. As the team looked at each other they looked towards Charlie.

"I told Mcgonagall I don't feel good so Spinnett just remember what I showed you."

"Okay Weasley Captain."Alicia joked as the team stood in lineup with their brooms by their side standing up getting ready to mount. They waited as they heard the Slytherin team being called off.

"And now.."Lee announced loud to where the teams heard,"the Gryffindor team!"

The team mount their brooms and flew out going around the stadium and by the professors tower.

"The chasers...Johnson,Weasley,Carrows. The keeper...Wood. The beaters...Weasley and Weasley.And Finally the seeker...Spinnet."Lee announced with excitment in his voice.

They went down and Oliver,as place of Captain,shook hands with Slytherin's captain as Madam Hooch said, "now I want a good clean match. From all of you."

After they remounted their brooms and took their positions as the games begin.
