HI guys, my name is Aalia. I am a girl. I am also Muslim. Before I start, I just want to say that Y'all have been saying it wrong. Both things actually! My name is Aalia. A-li-a. Muslim is pronounced Mus-lum. Not muzzzzzlim. We are not bee's. Now, once I was walking down the street, and a white man actually had the balls to ask me why I wore my hijab during the summer because I MUST get too hot. I responded with an "I'm hot all the time", and started to walk away. But then the man actually ran over to me and started to take it off himself, off MY HEAD. Who the hell does that? I screamed and kicked him in the balls, and he backed off. I reported it to my local police, and they actually laughed. I know carry pepper spray with me at all times. This is just one example of racism that happens because of Islamophobia. Humanity has disappointed me so far.
