~~2 weeks later. 10 months before current time~~~
"boys, I'll be heading down to the market! Anything you guys need?" Zayn asked them as he stood there with a pen and note pad. Zayn had already written down many things but the boy wanted to make sure he had everything. Niall was the first lad that came up to zayn, not that it surprised him. Zayn was used to Niall making sure Zayn would get everything he wanted to eat. Niall looked over at his list and then looked up at Zayn
"You know me so well Zayn" Niall said with a smile before walking away back to the sofa next to liam
"Can you get me some Twix zayn?" Harry said
"Sure" Zayn replied. "Anyone else?"
"No, I think we're all good, right boys" Liam said as the boys nodded their heads "Do you need someone to go with ya lad?" Liam asked
Zayn shook his head "No i'm good, i'll be back in a few hours alright" With that Zayn walked out the front door of the flat and walked out over to his car. Zayn opened his car and got inside closing the door behind him.
-At the Market-
Zayn was at the freezer isle looking at the french toast sticks. He opened it and got out a box and put it in the cart.
"Excuse me" a faint sweet voice said.
Zayn turned around and his eyes widened a bit when he saw it was the waitress from the pizza place.
"Oh, hi" he said to her.
"Oh, hello. " she said. She looked up at him and bit her lower lip "you're the boy that was at the pizza shop 2 weeks ago right"
"Yeah, you're Cher huh" he smile "Nice seeing you again, how are you?"
"I'm, uh..good" she replied
Zayn wasn't too sure from her reply. What he saw back at the pizza place wasn't right. She could be living with him. He wish she didn't have to go through that. Girls deserved to be respected. Zayn stepped aside so she could get what she wanted
"Well thats, good' he smiled at her "So you're out buying groceries"
she giggled after he said that. She took out what she wanted from the freezer and looked at him shaking the box "Yeah i am" she giggled again
"Oh, yeah duh. " he laughed nervously "we are at a grocery store. I forgot"
she giggled "Yeah, i'm just buying some things for my flat. Since we are out of food" she said "Well not we as in me and you but we as in..me ..and my boyfriend" she bit her lip and looked down as she put the box in her cart.
Zayn felt it get a bit awkward so he thought of trying to lighten the mood again. He was sure she didn't want to talk to him about her problems at home. Especially to a guy she had just met only two weeks ago.
"oh, I have to shop for the lads at home, the ones that were with me at the pizza place" he said
"Are those your brothers or something?" she asked
"No, were all great friends since freshman year of high school" he said "Mind walking with me, shopping with me really " He asked
"sure, i could use a friend" she said "Oh unless you don't wanna be friends then that's fine,sorry" she said
"Don't be sorry, its okay. I can be your friend"
"You would want to" she gave him a confused look
"Yeah sure. Why not? You seem like a nice girl"
"Well, people don't really want to be my friend.If there my friend and then find out what you fond out..well they don't want to be my friend anymore" She looked down
