It is the 1800 and two women who are friends, one women is enaged to wealthy man but in secret a man who is wealthy but not as much and also known for being a trouble maker has been getting closer and closer to the women, she must choose between a sure life with the wealthy man and an unsure one with the trouble maker.
The second women the other women's friend husband has recently died leaving her heartbroken and unsure where to go and what to do when an old family friend (he is about ten years older) comes into her life and starts to help her navigate and over time they slowly fall for each other but the man is also married and his wife is back home.
