The Request

Chapter 1

Ryan head is pounding. With the information that Alph Luis told him. The Alph of the Moon Star pack. Is trying to steal Bonnie away from him. On top of that Ashley is back in the picture. I don't know what to make of her. Also Colton is weary of her. Which means I should be too. She is a stranger. Already she has tried to interfere. Not realizing that Bonnie and he are mates.
"How do we break it to them? That we have to fight for the right to be mates. And these tasks are bound to be dangerous. In the short time we've known him Alph Luis has never looked so exposed." Gel said
I was so preoccupied that I walked right to someone. Instinctively I reached out and caught who I bumped. Ryan looked up to see Colton standing there wincing in pain. Ryan is barely holding him. There is unshed tears in his eye's. Wordlessly I pulled up his right hand sleeve. There is several claw marks that are half healed. Some several days old and others weeks.
"Did she do this or did you do this yourself?" Ryan said. Colton snatched his arm away from Ryan. And pulls down his shirt sleeve. "What's it to you? Just leave me alone!" Colton said. He side steps Ryan. And runs down the stairs. Ryan watches him dissappear down the landing.
I continue up to our room. As I come to our room I hear singing. I open the door. And follow it to the bathroom. I push open the door to see Bonnie in front of the mirror. Fixing her hair and singing. Until she spotted me in the mirror behind her. She jumped and spun around clocked me. I stumbled backwards with a aching jaw. Bonnie gasps and takes a step forward. Ryan stops her at arm's length. "I'm sorry you scared me. How is your jaw?" Bonnie asks. Ryan could tell she holding back a laugh.
"That isn't funny. Are you finished in here?" Ryan asks. Bonnie pulls her wrists from Ryan's slacking grip. And ran her hand up his abs and up his chest. "What did my father want so early this morning?" Bonnie asks.
They leave the bathroom and go into there room. She goes to there closet and gets out the outfit she wants to wear for today. I'm waiting patiently for him to answer. I sense him pacing back and forth behind me. I have not seem like this sense he was welcomed into the pack.
Bonnie turns to see him aggravated and tence. She dresses first giving Ryan time to gather his thoughts. By the time I'm putting on my shoes and socks. I her him exhale loundly. He comes over and sits with me. "Are you ready to talk about it?" Bonnie asks. Ryan can't bring himself to look her in the eyes.
"Bonnie?" Ryan says. She straddles him then puts her arms around his neck. Ryan looks into Bonnie's eye's. "There is something I need to tell you. But first I need to wrap my head around it. Also figure out how to keep you. And our child save. I know you can protect yourself. Just this once let me take the lead." Ryan said. She could tell by his eye's that whatever it was extremely bad news. I just hope my father does get the idea. Of sending me away again. "Okay I can tell whatever it is. It's big news. I can probably guess what it concerns. I can wait for to fill me in. Just don't take too long okay." Bonnie said. Ryan leans in gives her feather light kiss. Bonnie lip's curve against his.
She pulls back gently. And cups Ryan's face. "I'm having an ultra sound done later this afternoon. Meet me there at two -thirty. You better not be late." Bonnie said. She becks Ryan on the lips. Then gets up then grabs her things. And hurries through the door. He could hear Bonnie running down the steps. "Bonnie you know better then to run down the stairs. Think before you act." Zoey hollers.
Ryan goes to shut the door. But before he could Zoey steps in front of him. "You haven't told her yet. This isn't going to stay quiet for long. So get a move on." She steps back and walks down the stairs.
Ryan steps out into the hallway shuts the door. Then heads down the stairs. As I reach bottom. I see Walt standing stiffly by the staircase. When I reach him he glares at me. "I've got something I need to say. Bonnie is my little sister. I'd do anything for her. I've always believed that the Temple of the Moon Goddess. Was a children's story." Walt said. Ryan could tell that Walt is anger about our situation. "Now I don't know what to think. The Alph of the Moon Star pack. Has chosen to invoke the old laws. And try to steal your mate and child from you. " Walt said.
"Have you told Evelyn yet about the quest?" Ryan asks. Walt shuffles his feet looks left and right. I didn't want Evelyn to over hear us talking. "No I haven't. It's not a perfect time not when. We have a enemy pack almost at our boundaries. Not to mention the supporters of Victor's that are still out there." Walt said. We have many enemies. But many more allies. Who don't want to throw the rules away. " I'll breath easer when this is all over. We both need to gather our wit's. This unjust request will not stay quiet for long. Let's go and train with Luther, Aly, and Martin." Ryan said.
Ryan steps off the last stair. They both turn and head to the double door's. Then outside to designated sparring ring. Where Luther, Aly, and Martin where taking turns sparring with each other. Aly and Martin are currently rolling around wrestling. The only rules though is no crouch shots or eye gouging. It ends ether in tap out or knock out.
Ryan and Walt went over and stood on ether side of Luther. "Who has the upper hand right now?" Walt asks. Who was chuckling at Luther. Her eye's never left Alys watching every move. She was focused on her she did even notice us. Aly twisted Martin's arm behind his back. Then kicked his right leg out from under him. Aly tackles him and quickly pins him. He taps out."Yes, I told you. You couldn't beat me. I'm just to good for you. Hi, Walt are-"No your coming with me." Luther said. Aly turns towards her. Then she lefted off her feet and carried in the direction of the pack house. "Luther, put me down." Luther instead silenced her by kissing her passionately.
Walt, Ryan, and Martin are laughing. At the way those two act around each other. "Please tell us we aren't as bad those two are?" Ryan asks. Walt looks at Ryan wiping tears of laughter from his face. "Oh you two get just as involved in your mate's. It's like you go into your own world's. Where it's just the two of you together." Martin said. He sighs wistfully. I pry the Moon Goddess will soon grants me my mate.
"Are you up taking us on? Walt will go first and I'll go up against the winner. How's that?" Ryan asks. Martin grins slightly. Taking that as yes. Walt takes off his shirt. They circle each other. Walt goes low and Martin went high. He was thrown over Walt's back landing hard on his knees. Martin spins and kicks at Walt's lift leg. I go down hard on my right knee. I quickly get up. Martin comes closer.
I go for the ribs triple tap. Walt stumbles back holding his hurt ribs. This is it just sit back make think he has the upper hand. I go down on one knee. Martin goes for the bait. I grab his left leg and left arm. And pick him up then threw him. He landed with a whoosh of breath. And a lound snap. Walt quickly get a grip on Martin. I squeezes till he taps out. Ryan goes to him. Walt reaches him first. I sit up and look down at my arm. It's dislocated and by the looks of it a broken noise. "Take a deep breath. And I'll pop it back in place. On three." Ryan said. Walt grabs Martin's other shoulder to hold him still. "One!" Ryan yells. Then pulls backwards. "Ahhh!" Martin screams.
Walt releases him. Then helps him to his feet." You baited me into thinking. You where hurt too. Let's see if you can pull the wool of Ryan's eye's." Martin said. Ryan steps forward. And went where Ryan was standing. Prepared to judge the fight. Just as they get into there fighting stances. "Hold it!" The three of them look over to see Aron running towards them. Ryan and Walt glance at each other. Both expecting the worst. "Alph Luis wants to speak to the both of you and your mates. Now! I've sent Cody to get Bonnie and Evelyn from the coffee shop. I'm guessing that you both haven't. Told them about the demand and the quest." Aron said They both shook their heads no. "Can you give us an idea of what Alph Luis wants to talk us and our mate's?" Walt asks. It looks like I'm going to have to tell Bonnie before I have a clear idea. How I'm going to break it to hear that I might not be here to see our baby born. "Then we are going to need at least an hour. For Walt and I talk our mates. This isn't going to be easy." Ryan said.
We both turn around at the sound of a car pulling into the driveway. Bonnie, Evelyn, and Cody get out. Cody goes over to Tony and Ben who are making forced conversation. Because Tyler and Joe are in a major lip lock. Cody chuckles. "Why don't you get a room?" They pull apart both breathing heavily. "There just jealous because they haven't found their mates yet." Joe said. Tyler laughs.
Cody's smile slips from his face. I turn away from them and run into the woods. "What's up with him. Tony and Ben both shrug. "I didn't know that he didn't tell anyone about Nick?" Bonnie said.
I take Ryan's hand in mine. He is very tence. There is worry and aggravation in his eye's. "Would you like to go to the Falls before we go see the Alph?" Ryan asks. Bonnie's eye's light up. I bring her into my embrace. And breathing in deeply the scent of strawberries.
We leave the other's and walk into the wood's awhile. They both strip then roll their clothes. We shift our canines break through our gums. Then our spans snap in two. We fall to the ground gasping for breath. There faces elongates and fur covers their bodies. They pick up their clothe's. Ryan looks at Bonnie.
He could see her baby bump. "Your showing more in wolf form then human." Ryan said. Bonnie snorts and takes off like bullet. I take off after her. Not letting her get to far ahead of me. They race towards the water fall." I'm winning. Come on your letting me win. I'm pregnant not glass come and get me." Bonnie said. Ryan stops holding back. I snip at Bonnie's heals. She howls in enjoyment. They reach the Fall's at the same time. In pure bliss Bonnie. Jumps into water at the bottom of the Fall's. Ryan watches as Bonnie swims through the water. "Come in the water is great?" Bonnie asks.
I sit on my hunches. And watch her make waves in the water. I can't put it off any longer. I don't have that much time. I shift my bones pop back together. My canines shirk back into my gums. My face returns to normal. The hair all over my body slowly recedes. My paws reform into hand's and feet.
When I open my eyes Bonnie. Is sitting in front of me already shifted. And half dressed she only wearing a t-shirt. And a flirtatious smile. Ryan is having trouble. Remembering why he brought her out here. " Bonnie your stunning. But I've got something very important to tell you. Your going to be anger with me and sad." Ryan pauses.
Bonnie reaches over and takes Ryan's hand. "Ryan just say whatever it is." Bonnie said. "Bonnie, the Alph of the Moon Star pack. Has agreed to help. On one condition-"That's great I'm sure between.the Nightshade pack. And ours we will have even numbers agaisnt our enemies." Bonnie said. " The Moon Star pack's Alph has made a request. In exchange for their help. You and his son will become mates. They invoked the old laws. He has challenge me to do the tasks. And find the Temple of the Moon Goddess." Ryan said. My father would never agree to take me away from my mate. To invoke the old laws.
I stand and walk to the water's edge. I feel Ryan come up from behind me. His arms in circle me. I lean back into him. "When does the tasks begain? Who all are going with you for the search?" Bonnie asks. "It's Luther,Aly, Cody,Martin, Tyler, and Joe." Ryan said. Bonnie releases a held breath. She knows those six are tough to take down. They'll protect each other. "Ryan, you my not be back to see our baby born. "I'll record it for you. But you better try your hardest to be here." Bonnie said. Ryan nozzles into Bonnie's neck. She giggles. "I'll try my hardest to be back in time. Speaking of time we should head back our hour is almost up." Ryan said. Bonnie turns in his arms. I'm looking into his eye's. "Whatever the Alph wants has to do with what you've to told me. He is going to want me out if harms way. As do you. I'm just going to have to convince you both other wise." Bonnie said. Ryan grins then gives her a feather light kiss. Her lip's curve against his. They pull back from each. Oher breathing heavily. " Does this mean that your not anger with me?"Ryan said. Bonnie places her hand across his heart." Just a little because a small part of you. Wants to hide me away til this is all over." Bonnie said. We get move on. Togther they shift. "Race you back to the pack house." Bonnie said. Ryan hunkers down on his front paws. With a Wolfe grin. They both took off like bullets. In the direction of the pack house.
