Life was always something that seemed surreal to me. The very thought of it. Who am I? Who was I meant to become? What would I do? What the hell did it all mean? For as long as I can remember, life was just an out of body experience that I was looking in on from a bird's eye view.
Now, however, it seems as though everything has changed. I lay here, almost lifeless and I realize how precious life is; how much of it I never got to live.
I can't feel anything, or move at all for that matter. I can hear sounds, but I can't make out any of the words. I lay here dwelling on the fact that I never got to truly live.
