I wake up to a white creature poking me with its wet nose. I smile and pet her, but she avoids the pet.

Something's wrong.  I reach for the knife next to me. It fits my hand like a glove. I head out of my room.

A black figure stands in the hallway.

I jump in the air and tackle them. The knife pressed against their neck.

"Who are you?" I push the knife harder, "What do you want."

"I am Solar and I want this knife off of my neck" The figure yells.

"Oh," I remove the knife, "Sorry." Then I hit him with the handle end of the knife. "That is what you get for scaring me, idiot."

"I was going to wake you up to say I am here," he barks, "There is no reason to hit me"

"There is a reason-" I hit him again, "-You snuck up on me."

"Ow, stop it."

"Get ready for school."

"I am leaving soon, again sorry," He says.

A sigh escapes me, "Why"

"I have to find a certain wolf."

I walk away from him to get ready for school. A nice pair of jeans and a tee-shirt. I put my earbuds in my ears.

My car is a red jeep wrangler, but I am taking the bus today. I need to know who lives around me and who knows where I live.

I stop at the bus stop and look around me. There are 3 other people. 2 boys and 1 girl. They are all werewolves.

I recite my alias in my head: I am a senior in high school, named Sidney Porcello, 18 years old.

The loud bus pulls up. Number 96. I walk up to get on the bus. The driver stops me.

"Who are you," The guy asks.

I put on a smile, "I am new here. I was transferred from Wyoming to here." Lie.

The gruff man looks at me with a weird look then says, "First and last name."

"Sidney Porcello. I live at 593 Summer Court."

"Fine, sit down."

I sit down in the second row. The smile never wavers from my face. I take a look at those around me. They are all staring. I know why. I turn around.

"Do you do this to all new students from Wyoming," I ask aloud.

All of them minus one look away.

"I heard you are from a state that doesn't exist," the girl blurts.

"It does but there are 17 people and we ride cows into town." I turn to look at her.

The girl smiles. "My name is Lili. What is yours."

"My name is Sidney," I say politely, "I just moved here and I was invited to go to school here."

"Do you believe in werewolves?" she whispered.

Werewolves are one of the many paranormal species. They worship the moon goddess and it is believed that they were created when the moon goddess cursed two humans to become werewolves. They can become giant wolves at a will and they can only shift at the age of 15.

I look at her with confusion, "Werewolves don't exist silly."

Everyone on the bus turned to stare at me but I ignored it.

I giggle at her. "Why is everyone staring?"

I feel the shifting of gazes off of me. The tension in this bus could be cut with a knife. They think I am a human heading towards a werewolf school, but I am not a human. They don't know why I am going.
