Duffle ran ahead of Sky. This was the first time Sky was happy since Deadlox died. Then Sky heard a sound like the snap of twig. He looked behind him. Nothing. He looked back forward and, Duffle was gone! < Duffle!> he called and called for her, but nothing. Then black surrounded him and he fell, fell, fell. He heard laughing. Was this the end?! He started crying because he didn't survive for Deadlox. Then he fainted.
He woke up on a bed roses, startled. How did he get there? He tried to get up but a voice told him to stay down, but the voice sounded like......Deadlox?!
