Mya woke the next morning, cold, sore and in need of a hot shower. But she remembered the power was out, the events of last night came rushing back to her full force as she replayed them over in her mind, a rush of fear crawled it's way up her spine, she shivered as she stood slowly, "what happened, has to be some crazy dream......right", making her way out of the now cold, uninviting lounge, she silently crept towards the front door, her fist clenching around the cold brass handle, turning it Mya swung the door open, her eyes widening as they traveled up the man unfamiliar face, letting her eyes travel around his pale features as he did the say to her.

Mya cleared her throat catching the strangers attention, he straightened his posture a fake smile making it's way to his lips choosing his words carefully, "are you Mya Bunsworth", Mya's eyes widening further her suspicion only multiplying further as her brain calculates his words. " yes, I am what is it to you", a low chuckle escapes from the man's parted lips, " what are you here for sir, cause if you are here trying to sell me cookies you better leave now", Mya said as she folded her arms over her chest glaring at the man, he merely bowed, spinning on his heel his steps thundering down the front porch steps, raising his gloved hand, over his left shoulder implying that he will be seeing Mya again.

Watching him speed away in his car Mya leaned against the door frame, she released a breath she didn't know that she had been holding, turning on her boot clad feet, kicking the door shut behind her, Mya let out a jaw breaking yawn, walking into the lounge laying down across a small armchair, her legs dangling over the edge, running her fingers through her messy brunette hair, unsuccessfully ridding her hair of the tangles, huffing she rested her hands against her stomach, closing her eyes feeling the pent up tension and stress, leave her body as she dreamt about the pale stranger.........and the death of an elderly woman submerged in the river.
