Waking up at 2pm on a Saturday without interruptions is the reason I live.
I woke up, went downstairs and realised that my mom was preparing the table unusually quickly.
"Mom? Why are you in such a rush?" I asked and scratched my head.
"Good morning, or should I say good afternoon?" she said in a sarcastic tone.
"Sorry mom but I asked something.."
"We'll have visitors in...half an hour."
"Woah who? Why didn't you wake me up earlier? And why in general?" I asked in confusion.
"Um, your father's childhood friend with his wife and kids, I sent Michael to wake you up but I guess he didn't and because it's been a long time since they have seen each other in person."
"Do you need any help?" I offered.
"Just go upstairs and make your bed and then come downstairs to help me place the dishes on the table. Go go."
I nodded and ran upstairs to make my bed and check my phone notifications. Duh?
As I was getting finished with the bed some message notifications popped up on my phone so I finished off and opened my phone.

Me: I heard Hye is organising a party but I'M NOT GOING TO HERS.

Queen Evi💎: Someone else? Let's go to a club or something

Me: No problem, what time?

I rushed downstairs to let my mom know and to help her with the table.
"Eomma I'm going out tonight with Joanna, Evi and the boys."
"Ok DON'T be late. And DON'T sleep again at anybody's place, come home."
"Don't worry."
She nodded and gave me plates.
"Eomma?" I asked.
"Yes?"
"How old are their children?"
"Umm I don't know ask your appa."
