A Classic Brallie Story (Part 2)

Goodbye?

After the doctor left I called my mom. I can not believe she signed off on Callie basically killing herself.

*Phone conversation*

Stef- Hey B, is there any news on Callie?

Brandon- Are you kidding me! She has been in a coma for a month! The doctor wants to pull the plug on her and says you signed off on it!

Stef- What? I never signed off on something like that.

Brandon- Well the doctor said you did.

Stef- That's it i'm comming down there.

After she hung up it only took her 10 minutes to get here. The doctor and mom are fighting hard core. Something about ger not signing anything and to check her discharge papers from last time and compare the signatures.

Stef- She woke up from a 5 week coma when none of you thought she would! Why on earth would we only give her 30 days!

Doctor- Well we told you guys she only had a week but your son there wouldn't let us pull the plug, and we made the mistake of not calling the athouraties. But I'm sorry to say this but Mrs. Foster, if you get in the way of violating hospital protocall, I will call the police. And you won't be able to say goodbye.

Stef- You are not calling the police okay. We-we will respect protocall.

Now I jump up from my place of sitting holding Callie's hand.

Brandon- What! I'm not!

Stef- Brandon you need to calm down right now before you get thrown out of the hospital.

The doctor leaves the room. And I start crying. Mom is hugging me trying to get me to calm down. I get loose out of the hug and sit back in my chair and grab her hand into my right hand while gently stroked her cheak with my left one. Letting a few tears fall. This is it, isn't it? I have to say goodbye now don't I?

I lean forward, gently put both of my hands on her cheeks, lean in and kiss the girl I love with the tears getting more heavy.
