Chapter 5

 Seth's P.O.V

I brushed my lips against her, waiting for her to stop me. When she didn’t I pressed my lips against her, and she tasted like chocolate chip cookies. I removed one of my hands from her waist and placing it gently on her left cheek, as she tangled her fingers in my curly hair. Our lips moved sync with one another. I traced my tongue along her bottom lip, seeking permission, and she gladly opened. I smiled against her lips; at least I’m not the only one who’s enjoying this. I kissed her with everything I had. I pulled away about 15 seconds later, and I heard her whimper loudly. Did she not want to stop?

I looked at her flushed face, as soon as she caught my eye she quickly removed her hands from my hair and looked down at her feet. I removed my hand from her cheek and reached behind her grabbing a homemade chocolate chip cookie. I looked back at Amy, what do I say?

“Well, that was fun!” I said after taking a bite from the cookie. Her cheeks turned a darker shade of red.  She just started at the ground, looking nervous as she played with her fingers. I knew I shouldn’t have kissed her. I am so fucking stupid, we were only friends.

I lifted her chin with my fingers, causing her to look into my eyes.  “Amy, I’m so sorry, please don’t be mad. I’m really sorry. I am so stupid, I shouldn’t have kissed you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me.” I apologized while giving her my best begging face. Her face immediately softened when I pouted. “Look, I’m really sorry. I just really like you Amy.” I said mumbling the last sentence.  Her face jerked up, “What did you say?” she asked.

Oh no, this is going to ruin our friendship. She is about to kick me out of her house, I know it!  “I really like you Amy. But, I’m really sorry; if you’re not looking for a relationship then we can forget this, please? I can’t lose your friendship, Amy. I’m sorry” I pleaded.

Amy let out a chuckle, WHAT THE FUCK? She is laughing about this. “Stop apologizing, you said sorry at least 7 times.” I let out a sigh of relief, she wasn’t mad. Did that mean I was forgiven? "It's okay, it's not like I didn't enjoy it."  Well, that answers my question. "We can just forget it, ok?" I nodded and let out a long sigh I didn't know I was holding in, at least I was forgiven.
