A Spring Day Will Come

Chapter II

//Jimin POV//

I woke up to the sun shining through the curtains. Damn it! We forgot to close the curtains. I looked over at my still sleeping boyfriend. How can he sleep so much? He really is like a grandpa.

I rolled out of bed and started to get dressed. Today is Yoongis 25th birthday. I put on something casual and comfortable because I don't have anything big planned for his birthday. I'm just going to invite the rest of BTS over to our house to celebrate.

I took my phone off of the bedside table and went downstairs to the kitchen.
Yesterday I had planned Yoongis birthday with the rest of BTS. Jin should be here soon with the rest of the members. Jin will make a delicious breakfast, Namjoon will bring the birthday cake, Hoseok will bring the decorations, such as balloons and a big sign that says 'Happy Birthday!', and Jungkook and Taehyung will carry the presents.

They still aren't here, so I'll start setting out all the things that Jin might need for breakfast. As I was putting a bowl and whisk on the table the doorbell rang. Finally they're here!

"HI JI-"

"Quiet Jungkook! Don't wake up Yoongi!" I whisper-shouted.

"Sorry. I'm just excited to surprise him. And anyway, Yoongi is basically dead when he sleeps. I'll be surprised if he wakes up before noon."

"Just come on quickly. We have quite a lot to do."

Jin immediately went to the kitchen and started to make pancakes for the seven of us. Namjoon was bringing the cake to the kitchen table, but he tripped. Luckily Jin was there and caught it in time.

"Jesus Christ you are clumsy..." Jin said.

I was helping Hoseok and Taehyung put the big 'Happy Birthday!' sign up when I remembered that I still have to wrap Yoongis present.

"Sorry guys, I have to quickly go do something. Get Jungkook to help you."

I ran up the stairs to mine and Yoongis shared bedroom. I walked in and saw that Yoongi was awake and he was doing something on his phone.

"Good morning hyung! I didn't think you'd be awake."

"Good morning Jimin. I was wondering where you had gone. I hope you haven't forgotten what day it is."

"How could I forget your birthday?" I gave Yoongi a quick peck on the lips. He blushed and I found it so cute when the soft side of him showed.

"C'mon, get dressed. I have a surprise for you downstairs."

As I was walking down the stairs I remembered that I never ended up wrapping his gift. Damn it. Oh well, I guess I'll just give it to him unwrapped.

"Hey guys! Yoongi is awake and he will probably come down any minute, so let's hurry up and finish the decorations."

Just as I was organizing his gifts on the table he walked down the stairs.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Yoongi! Happy birthday to yooouuu!"

//Yoongi POV//

I stood there in disbelief. Did they really do this all for me? Did they wake up early just so they could surprise me?

"T-thank you so much guys! I wasn't expecting this at all! I feel like I'd ktn deserve you guys..."

"Don't mention it Yoongi. Of course we would make sure that you have the best birthday ever! Now come on, I made pancakes and we have your favorite toppings."

"Thank you Jin! That was delicious!" Jungkook said.

"Well, it is kinda my job to feed you."

Jin and Namjoon started clearing up the table and washing the dishes while Jungkook, Taehyung and Hoseok went to play video games. They looked like little kids sitting on the ground and playing games. Yoongi and Jimin decided to sit on the couch behind them. Jimin rested his head on Yoongis lap while Yoongi combed through Jimins thick hair with his fingers.

"I'm so lucky to have you, I hope you know that," Yoongi said to Jimin.

"And I hope you know that I am lucky to have you, Yoongi."

Jimin slowly raised his head from Yoongis lap and stared at him. He leaned in and kissed him. His lips felt so soft, the kiss was gentle. For a while they forgot that they weren't alone.

"Hey, you two love birds. Are we gonna open presents now or are you going to continue doing...this." Jin said.

Yoongi and Jimin pulled away and blushed staring at the ground.

"Cute," Namjoon quietly said, smiling and showing his dimples.

//Time skip//

All of the presents, except for Jimins special present, have been opened and it was time for the bangtan members to go home.

"We'll strat heading off now. It was nice to come over and celebrate Yoongis birthday," Hoseok said while Gina md the rest of the bangtan members put on their coats.

"Bye! It was nice to have you over. See you tomorrow in the studio!" Jimin said.

And with that Jimin closed the door and both of them were left alone.

"I have one more gift for you Yoongi. Sit on the sofa and wait a little bit."

Jimin ran up the stairs, grabbed the bracelets and sprinted down the stairs to Yoongi.

"Hold out your hands and close your eyes." Jimin put the bracelet in his hand as Yoongi opened his eyes.

"Wo-...it's amazing Jimin! Thank you so much!" Yoongi said while tightly hugging Jimin. As he did so, he accidentally pulled him onto the sofa with him.

They stayed cuddled up on the sofa in each other's arms and eventually fell asleep.

Hiii! I wrote this at 1am😑 but anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOONGI! I hope TrashCanWho enjoyed/ will enjoy this book because her bias is Yoongi and my bias is Jimin.
Btw idk how to write the kissing parts I always feel awkward when I wrote them😬😬😬pls forgive me
