(A/N: One day he will be at the Academy Awards, I just know it. Enjoy.)

"Oh my god Mia, look at him! He would have been better wearing a pair of pink swim trunks or something."

"Monica don't be so mean," I shove her as I take a seat on the couch placing the bowl of popcorn between us. "Although you're right, that's not a good suit."

It's Oscar Sunday and Monica and I are doing what we love to do, sitting in front of the TV in our PJs eating chocolate and popcorn and being overly critical about every single person's outfit on the red carpet.

Things can get pretty crazy.

"I can't believe you didn't go," she huffs stuffing her face with a handful of popcorn. "If Ben asked me I'd be there."

"You'd never leave me," I scowl at her. "Not when I'm like this," I gesture to myself.

She rolls her eyes at me knowing I'm right. Ever since I told her Monica has been overly protective. It's lovely but so exhausting. Between her and Harry I can barely walk down the stairs without one of them checking up on me.

But I wouldn't change them for the world because I honestly couldn't go through this on my own. They are the perfect support team.

"So when is Harry supposed to show up?"

"He said he'd text me so I can be watching," I check my phone on instinct but have no messages. "He was worried I'd be watching my favorite movie instead or something... you know with all the hormones."

"Yet another reason I'm here... I'm not going to let you miss Harry's first Oscar Red Carpet."

I hear her mumble how I should have gone with him but if not ready then I'm not ready and Harry completely understood. I'm carrying his baby after all and with the way he's been going, I think he might just agree with anything I have to say no matter how outrageous it is.

"I might go to one of the after parties," I finally tell her. I've been holding it off for a little while because she's going to go crazy but I can't lie anymore.

"Are you kidding me? You're telling me this now?"

"Yes?"

"Jesus girl," she jumps up from the couch, just about ready to take action. "We have to get you ready and–"

"Don't worry about it," I chuckle, pulling her back down to her seat. "Lou was in town to get Harry ready today so she's coming over soon to help me."

I watch Monica lean back on the couch and take a long drag of red wine. "Fuck Mia, you really know how to give me a heart attack. And you better get her to fix those nails. You cannot walk with Harry with nails looking all chipped."

For a moment I look down at my hand and smiling. "Harry did offer to do them but he was going to be late."

Monica gives me some side eye for a moment before looking at me with such shock and disdain. "Are you really telling me you didn't let Harry paint your nails?"

"Goodness Monica, he has before, chill out," I giggle at her intensity. "I'm sure he'd do your's if you're really that intrigued."

As we watch celebrity after celebrity walk down the carpet Monica gets more and more antsy.

It's really funny actually. Harry and Monica are really good friends, after all the time Harry and I have been together, Monica didn't really have a choice on that front. But she's also a crazy fan and at times like this when Harry is about to walk the Academy Award Red Carpet for the first time is a big deal.
