It says on the back, * January 20 Year XXXX * this proves that it is still alive somewhere out there, ever again! * and then slap me, thich is why i will be keeping this to myself and my best friend, John.
John nudges me on my side, "Hey, your zoning out again"
"Sorry" I have a lot on my plate right now
He laughs "But I'll take you out for arcade games later"
i high five him and wave him goodbye. I smile, but when it turns around i take out the picture and have a good look at it, trying to figure out where my sister is.
i hear a * Scream * I turn around to see a young girl with a thug behind her.
"HEY" i scream * i punch the guy "Do not touch this young women .... If you want to hurt her, you have to get through me."
I start beating up the guy, and then leave him to run. i walk towards the girl and offer her my hand. she has a shard of glass pointed at me, like she is ready to slice me and run.
I smile "dont worry, im here to help you, not hurt you."
she takes out her phone and dials a number....i look at the clouds.
*its going to rain soon, i shouldn't leave her out here* i think
i turn back to her and then over hear her conversation
"no i do not, but there is no other place to crash in" she says
i sigh and say" you can crash with me, i got medical supplies, and another bed for you to sleep on"
She looks at me and then talks to the person on the phone, *crap* i think*she is not talking to him that i am some kind of stalker right?*
"here"she says
i take the phone and immediately i hear a young man's voice, nagging me about her staying at my place.i assure him that i am not dangerous and he agrees to let her stay, but for some reason it kind of felt like he was threatening me.
I smile "ok here, lemme help you up then we can walk over to my place"
she nods and we start walking.
"hey" i say, " if you ever need to stop just put 2 fingers on your eyebrow, ok?"
she nods and starts walking slowly, she steps on her hurt knee, but then quickly hops onto her other foot. i look at her and just lift her on my back.
"HEY?!" she screams" WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
I smile "it will rain soon, if you want to get somewhere warm and dry, we have to get to my home quick!!"
She tries to protest but knows that what im doing is the right thing, she stays quiet through the whole walk, then finally as we come up to my doorstep, she hops down on one foot, and takes a look around the front porch.
"decent" she mumbles
I smile "welcome to my Casa"
She stares at me and slightly smiles, " great"
I open the front gate and let her in, she stares at the frogs in the pond and the hummingbirds.
"woah!" she says" i didn't know you had such majestic animals here!"
I laugh "what never seen a frog and hummingbird?"
She stares at me and nods.
"oh" i say " well you can take on inside if you want, they get attached to people very quickly"
she walks in with me and then starts to zone out.
"wow how does a guy like you own such a neat place like this?" she says in amuzement
I laugh " well i dont own this place...yet"
she looks at me, and then limps around, she looks around the huge, 2 story building.i look at her in awe.
*so she has never ever, been in a home like this* i think*well, she must be from the poor sectors right?*
She finds me and looks at the mattress.
"sorry" I say " it's the best mattress i could find"
she feels the mattress, and lays down on it.
"this is heaven" she mumbles
i laugh and then say "ok if you say so "
i walk out and grab the first aid kit, i stare at the pictures of my mum and dad, they looked so young, when they had "me".
I sigh and walk back to the room where the girl is staying in. when i walk in there, she has already fallen asleep
I chuckle and whisper "im going to bandage your knee"
she moves and then says, "ok ok ok ok..Ok"
once i finished up her bandages, i hear the door open.
"EDEN, IM BACK FROM WORK" my dad yells
"DAD!" i yell back
I close my door behind me and go to my dad
"hey son, long time no see eh?" he smiles
"yeah, um dad" i ask
"yes son?" he says
" so um i was strolling around with john and, well this girl was getting beaten up by a thug, and well she didn't have a place to crash into, so she is sleeping in my room" i blabber
"wait wha???" he says " so your telling me, you helped a girl and now she is sleeping here?"
"y..yes" i say
"im not happy that you brought a girl," he sighs"but you were doing the right thing"
I smile and give my dad a hug.
"thanks for understanding pops" i smile and go watch T.V in the living room
