My name is Song Ji-Woo, and very recently I was forced to go to a party by my two immature friends, Eunha and Hyunmi. They probably either drugged me or put me to sleep, because right now I have no freakin idea where the hell I am.
Something feels weird. I take out a handmirror, and I examine my faceu. A mask, huh? Hyunmi must've put this on me. After adjusting the mask, I look around, admiring the ballroom. Classy music was playing, and it seemed everyone except me was having fun.
I suppose I'll have to make do of this situation then. "One vodka and some soju, please!" I yell at the bartender. "Coming right up." the bartender replies. I smile. "Thank you, - I look at his nametag - Joong-ki." He looks up at me, smiles, and goes back to making the drinks. I suddenly realize something. Where the hell did this purple dress come from? I sigh and suddenly realize something else: It's a party. Of course I'd be in a dress.
I stand up slowly and head over to the dance floor where masked men and women were gracefully dancing. The music shifted, and people scurried to find a new partner. "May I take this dance, my lady?" a deep voice said behind me. I spun around, revealing a masked male extending his hand out to me. "I-I uh.." and of course I didn't know how to dance. "I would really prefer not to.." I said, but he took his hand, intertwined it with mine, and spun me around the dance floor.
"W-what are you doing? S-stop it!" I say to him. He pulled my waist closer to his chest, and spun me around again. .."Shut up and just dance." he whispered in my ear. I gulped and said nothing. For a while, only classical music played as the masqueraders danced around the room until my partner asked me my name. "My name?.." I ask. "Yes." he replied. "Ah, well, it's Song Ji-Woo..." I say softly. The masked male smiles warmly and twirls me again. "You have a beautiful name, my mistress." I start blushing madly at his response. "I-I uh, thank you.." I stammer.
"By the way, you can call me Jinyoung." he says as he tucks a strand of hair behind my face. My heart starts thumping madly, as I look up and get a closer look at his face. He eyes me through his mask, smirking and making me literally go insane. "Now that I look at you clearly, Ms. Ji-Woo, you are really pretty." he whispers in my ear. My cheeks flushed, and I now probably look like a can of dehydrated tomato soup. "T-thank y-" before I can say anything, the music shifts and Jinyoung lets go of my hand.
Before he walked away, he winked at me. "See you later, Ms. Jiwoo." I stand there awkwardly watching him pair up with someone else until another voice calls out for me. "Miss, your drinks." A voice warmly says. I look at the male raising his eyebrows up at me and holding 2 drinks in his hands. "Ah, Joongki!" I say, quickly heading over to him. I see him smile, seeing that I remembered his name. I pop open the soju and Joongki leans closer to me, eyeing me intently. "How was the dance?" he asked me. "Nice." I reply, drinking another shot of the beverage.
"Oh yeah, go easy on the goods." he smiles at me. "This soju is strong, and I don't want you getting drunk at a place like this." I shrug as I take another shot. "I'm fine.." I mutter.
