Due to the King Lÿcoan and his murderous tendencies, the future Duchess was killed along with his mother, by him. Thus realizing that he needed a second in command later on.
The first year of the Kings rule, he held a tournament, testing men to their limits and testing their ability to outsmart the average wolf. Käios was a very smart man, very well mannered with a hidden thirst for blood. He loved the thrill of a hunt although he was very intellectual when it came to the actual hunt. He outsmarted the King in one of his own trials, and the King absolutely hated that and for some reason, they bonded over it.
Now as the Duke of werewolves, he stands by his King and best friend.
Duke Käios is a noble man, very friendly, very welcoming and very warm. He's probably one of the nicest guys you'll ever encounter when it comes to the royals, in fact, he's the one you'd hope to encounter when you've broken a law, most of the time, it is.
Duke Käios is said to have a beast side though, one in which he cannot control. He has a well controlled temper, unlike the king but when you present a challenge or a game to him, he begins to feed into his animalistic sides.
Käios has killed many women and children, including his older sister and orphans.
Many conclude he feels guilt so he's decided to change and become a respectful man with a past just like anyone, but he still has a thirst for torture and somehow he sleeps just fine at night knowing this.
