Maximus

Maika slowly creeped through the door, hoping there is no one when she arrived.

It was 10 am in the morning.

She let out a relieved breath when she realize she was just over reacting. The  living room is,empty and there is no sound coming from the home.

Maximus must be working and Maddox maybe go out to god knows where.

She whistled happily and strutted inside. Her six inches loubouritins clicked loudly on the floor.

"Where did you go all night, Maika?" A dangerously low and very, very, very threatening voice suddenly appear from nowhere.

Maika gulped. Looking frantically around the home.

"Did you know how worried was Maddox and me?" the voice drawled.

Seriously, if Maximus shouted or yelled at her when she did something wrong she would be happier than he spoke calmly to her, just like now.

But she knew Maxim better.

He never shouted or yelled.

"Um.. Of course I know. You guys love me right? Right? " Maika answered, she tried to loosen her tight red dress as she slipped out her heels.

A shadow appear from the hallway.

"And your brother still searching for you. "

"What? I'm sorry." Maika said guiltily. She thought Maddox not bothered to search for her.

"Now, tell me where you go."

"Uh" She scratch her head.

Maximus lifted an eyebrow.

Well brother, yesterday i go to club, get wasted and followed a stranger back to hotel and i had wild amazing sex with him. Oh, i lose my virginity too.

No, I can't say that. Maika thought.

"You see Maika, I don't tolerated this kind of behaviour. Mother send Maddox and you to me so it's my responsible to make sure you both are safe. " Maxim said.

"I'm sorry. "

True, Maika really feel guilty and sorry.

" I want you to cook and clean the house. I want there is no a speck of dust when I come back home tonight. Considered it your punishment" Maxim sighed. " and don't go out Maika."

"isn't you have someone to do the chores?" Maika asked, stomping her foot.

She doesn't know how to cook to save life.

"Yes but I want you do it. If you don't , I will not give you your monthly allowance. You know mother don't give you and Maddox money anymore. " Maxim smirked. " Do as I said or no money. "

Maika gaped at her brother. This can't be true. No, she refused been controlled by Maximus ! 

"Max-"

"And I dont want you to dress like that" Max cutted her words off and motioned to her attire, frowning.

What !

" But-"

" Threw all the clothes that revealed to many skin or donated it I don't care as long as you not wearing it. "Maxim said casually.

No. Her clothes is her life! Maika thought.

"You can't ordered me around brother." Maika growled, all the guiltiness disappeared.

" I will and I could do as I pleases. Now, clean the house and make dinner. I will be back, I'm late.Make sure you not wearing too sexy when go out again. I dont like it." Maxim said ignoring her growled.

He passed her, not even sparing her a glance.

"Tell Maddox you are home." He said before closing the door.

It was evening, Maika was mopping the floor when Maddox strutted in.

Maddox stop at his step. He rubbed his eyes few times. "What are you doing?" he asked, watching Maika weirdly.

"What do you think, obvious?" Maika glared at him, she know she should apologized because Maddox search for her all night but she was so tired doing the chores.

"You are mopping the floor?" Maddox said while walking to her, a grin of his face.

Unfortunately, the floor is wet and Maddox fall down on his butt, before he fall he tried to balance his body, causing him to dance like stupid chicken. "Fuck!"

"Idiot." Maika muttered, not bothering to offered a hand to Maddox.

"Maika, the floor is too soapy and too wet! Did you know how to clean the floor or not? Or this is your first time cleaning house?" Maddox laughed at her, he was still on the floor.

Maika kicked his legs.

Suddenly, there is loud weird sound.

"the fuck is that?" Maddox asked her.

Maika quickly rushed to the kitchen. She was too engrossed to examine the mop and mopped the floor she forgot the chicken soup. The pot is almost dry.

Maddox appear beside her and shake his head.

"I'm not going to risked myself eating what you cooked." He said while eyeing the kitchen.

"Thanks for the encouragement." Maika replied, rolling her eyes.

Maddox spotted burned fry eggs and some weird whole potatoes that has been fried on the dining table.

"we should ordered some chinese takeout. " he suggested.

Maxim eyed the takeout. "you didn't cook?" he asked Maika a little accusingly.

"about that.." Maika shifted uncomfortably on her sit.

"she can't cook. " Maddox said.

" I see. " Maxim answered,looking around the house."You can't clean the house too" he added.

"hehe" Maika give him a guilty smile.

"Yes she can't. Maika such a princess. " Maddox replied.

"Shut up Mad !" Maika smacked her twin's head.

" Ow ! Look Maxim, she is violent too! "Maddox rubbed his head.

Maxim sighed, tousling his black hair.
"Look, you both just have to behave. I see what I can do to send you back to mother. " Maxim said, clearly not liking to take care of both of them.

Maxim always been a lone wolf. He doesn't play with Maika and Maddox like other brother do. He also always have that serious and don't-fuck-with-me face that makes Maika scared to play with him when she was a little girl. He also talked so little.

He still wearing that kind of expression.

Maxim also always not at home when she was a kid, he moved out as soon as he finished high school. Maddox and her didn't see their older brother much, she only saw him twice or maybe third a year if they are lucky.

"You both will start your high school tomorrow. I found a good school for you. Don't start trouble. Behave." Maxim warned, grey eyes give them an icy look that send shiver to their spine.

They both nodded their head obediently.
