"Nervous?" Harry asks as Draco paces back and forth backstage. His opening act is finishing up. Which means he has to go on soon but he looks terrified. The lights coming off the stage make him look years younger and Harry can remember walking with him to audition after audition until he thought he'd catch his big break. He blinks and he's back in the present, sitting in a metal-backed folding chair on the edge of backstage, one of Draco's hands held tight in his own.

"I'm always a little anxious before I go on stage. I never know what's going on until I'm up there. Until I can see them." Draco shakes his head. "It's fine and I know it'll be fine. Better than fine. I've practiced all day it's just..."

Harry stands up and move behind him to wrap his arms around Draco's torso, resting his chin on the slightly taller man's shoulder after kissing the uncovered juncture between his long ethereal neck and his broad shoulders.

"Well they love you. Not as much as me and the boys do, I'm sure, but they love you and your music and your personality. You're going to be okay."

Draco leans into his hold with an exhale that help to release since if the tension in his shoulders. When he speaks again, it's a whisper.

"You're right," he agrees before adding even softer, "I'm glad you're here."

"Me too," Harry says then kisses his cheek softly as the first act finishes and the audience cheers loudly. "Break a leg, yeah?"

Turning in his hold, the blond kisses him purposefully on the lips then pulls away with one of his soft shy smiles before going on stage. Harry can feel his heart running rampant even though he knows Draco has owned his heart for almost as long as they've known each other.

The show starts soon after. It's loud as Draco comes on stage for the first time, the audience in awe at the sight of him and Harry can't blame them. Draco is staring out at all the lights and faces and grins so wide his dimple shows. Harry really can't blame them then, because he can admit that he swoons.

"Hey everyone, how we doing tonight? You all a'right?" The crowd cheers and Draco's smile never falters. "Good to hear it. I have a couple of songs to perform for you. Would that be okay?" The audience cheers their affirmation and Draco steps a bit away from the mic before he starts. When the music starts, he opens his mouth and has the audience singing happily along.

Harry looks around himself and then takes a step back from the stage a little to look for James or Teddy or both of them, because they didn't want to miss this for the world. They're nowhere to be found and even his text goes unanswered. He tries not to panic. Tries to orient himself in the fact that his boys are smart and they will turn up. He has to believe that.

"I told you we shouldn't have left the viewing room," Teddy whined while shoving at James'shoulder. They're standing outside of the venue surrounded by fans who couldn't get in. The buses they're living on during the tour are parked near the performers entrance, but they've been kicked out of the building and couldn't reach them now if they tried.

"I just wanted to wish Father good luck," James said and even though he wasn't looking at him, Teddy could tell his little brother was pouting.

"Well you've had a great go at it, haven't ya? We're locked out." Teddy shook his head exasperated. "I 'll call dad."

"No! What about Father? If Dad leaves and he looks over for support and he's not there, he'll be crushed!"

"Stop being such a baby, JL. How else are we supposed to get back inside?"

"We just have to wait until the show's over. They won't leave without us."

"I actually wanted to watch Dad perform, idiot."
